Adrienne - Hope it's okay that I started this....
Sarah - I made a ticker for Sully - if you want a different one, or want his name different then just let me know and I can update it. Hope that's okay, but I wanted to include him.
If I missed anyone else let me know and I will update it.
I have been falling behind on this message board - I haven't been on the computer too much and then thought I would just wait until April to catch up.Gabby is doing so well. She is getting over this cold or whatever she had - still no teeth, I so thought we were going to have two pop through this week, but nothing! We had a chiro appt on Monday and she said that Gabby's ears were inflamed, we both go back today, so we will see how they are today. we have been putting in Garlic drops to help with any irritation she has with them. She has been sleeping super well this week. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday night she went to bed between 7:30 and 8:30 and slept until 2:30 one night and 4:30 the other nights! I couldn't believe it. Last night I even put her down semi tired - not totally asleep and she went to bed on her own with her seahorse singing to her :) She nursed all those times and went back to bed. and on Tuesday night, she got up around 10:30 and 1:30 so still not bad at all. I feel so refreshed. DH and I thought we were getting her cold but we seemed to have been lucky and not gotten it, so that's good. I had a dream (almost nightmare I guess you could say) that Gabby woke up screaming and had a mouth full of teeth. Like the entire set came in over night. Can you imagine if that happened?? Glad it was just a dream.
I signed her up for ECFE classes today. they are only 6 weeks left in the school year, but luckily I was still able to join and will then be bringing her to the Baby Play time this summer and then either swimming lessons or another ECFE class in the fall, or both. I haven't decided, both might be a bit too much, so I might do the Swimming lessons and then do a spring class again like I am doing this year...we will see. I am super excited. We went to a dinner and had story time and song time last night and she liked playing with the other kids and it's only from 5 to 6:15 so not too bad.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Jess, can you please add me?
Yay for good sleeping!
Emmy - So sorry I didn't include you. I knew I was forgetting! I had to recereate it because it wasn't copying right, so let me know if you want it differently or give me the HTML. Glad the BF'ing is going well! and yeah for no nipple shield. I had to use one when Gabby was first born, and it helped a TON.
Sarah - I updated Eloise's ticker, again I had to recereate it, so if you don't want that one, give me the HTML and I can get that added. So cute that Eloise calls Sully her baby! My Cousin who is 5 did that with my 7 1/2 month old cousin. She was born a week after Gabby and my little cousin rachels loves her baby Ali! it's not her sister, it's her baby. Hopefully you guys can come home soon. My LC gave me the same advice about the 15 minutes per side and it caused such a stress for me because Gabby wouldn't eat for 15 minutes on one side let alone two sides...She still to this day only nurses for 15 maybe 20 minutes on one side, rather than both...once I left the whole clock behind it went much better for us.
Thanks for starting this, Jess!
Adrienne - Everything ok? You've been MIA for awhile now?
Sarah - Great to hear from you! I am amazed that you still have time to post with 3 LOs now. Hope you and Sully got to go home today and the kids' comments about him are so cute! Btw, I never knew that if you had a vaginal birth that some hospitals let you go home after 24 hours. I SO would've asked to go home a day early! I got no sleep in the hospital. Although Selin was born close to midnight so I don't think they would've released me at midnight the next day.
