Alyssa - My mom always used to say that too to me, then I explained her that a babies gag reflex is farther forward on their tongue, this is specifcally so they don't choke on food. I am sure she knows that being a nurse, but I have had Gabby choke more on purees than when she is feeding herself. In fact last night she took a huge chunk of bread and put the entire thing in her mouth and didn't choke. I know that Ella could tell you more. I know that Kass is dealing with a

I was just going to go look up the thread that Erin started in Feb... but she went and did it already, lol! Hope that thread helps. Yeah, I know some relatives freaked about us doing BLW w/ Eliza, too. You just have to combat it with research and information -- those people are most likely speaking from a place of fear and misinformation, unfortunately. And some of them will never be convinced, so I just gave up in the end. GL!!!

Hello!
I apologize if I don't have time to post this week. We are leaving for Florida on Friday after I get off work at 10am.

Thanks ladies! I don't know why I let these comments get to me. I think this one bothered me in particular because it's my aunt. She's known me all my life and she should know that I wouldn't do anything without thinking of Evan's safety, health, and well being. I don't really care if people don't trust/understand the method, but it does bother me if they don't trust me with my baby! Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions!

Sandy - good luck getting ready for the trip, and have a ton of fun! Can't wait to hear about it and see pics when you get back!

Adrienne - I'm not a huge fan of medicating, and if we went that route we would have to get yet another Dr involved, as his therapist can't write scripts. sigh.... we're going to be looking into diet changes, I've seen a few cookbooks geared toward ADHD and Asperger's, I just haven't picked one yet. Thanks for your insight.

Sandy - Have a great trip.
