Alyssa--Yeah the PG on IV is TOTALLY dead but I think that is because most of us use the FB group now.

Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been MIA but I have been reading every single post! As you can imagine, I'm quite busy these days between student teaching and being sick. Yes, I'm sick yet again. Was diagnosed with the flu (respiratory, not stomach) last week and then Selin came down with a double ear infection a few days later. Now DH is sick so we're just a household of germs! I've been on antibiotics pretty much since the beginning of Dec., which means DH and I haven't DTD since then because we absolutely cannot risk an oops since we still don't have maternity coverage.

Selin is feeling much better now that she's on meds for her ear infection. She had a rough weekend, waking up nearly every hour, but the last few nights she's only woken up once, which I can totally deal with. Her bottom two teeth are also very close to coming through so she's teething on top of everything else.

We were part of the major blizzard that hit the Midwest and got about 20 inches Tuesday night. Needless to say,

Hi Adrienne! Neither of us are comfortable just using withdrawal because we just absolutely cannot afford an oops. We've just about got all our debt paid off and if we had to pay for prenatal care and a hospital stay out of pocket, it would totally set us back financially. I'd like to welcome the next baby under the best circumstances possible. :-)

No my DH had the camera the first night and got one quick, bad shot of us from the top deck and then the lifeguard came by and told him no pics. Lame! Sorry about the molars, hope poor Eliza feels better soon and they come through quickly!!

Good luck with your party!! Sounds fun!

Sorry about the illness and hospital stay! Ugh!! I'm glad you are better and the babe is doing well also. I cant believe how close you are to meeting your third baby!

Sorry about the row with your DH. Those are never fun, especially if they are about family members. Teddy looks and sounds like such a doll, and I just cant believe he is 2!

Sorry you've been sick and on antibiotics for so long. I hope everything clears out soon. So glad to hear your student teaching is going well too.

I'm sure your DH will come around to TTC on your timeline...sometimes we have to make them think things are their idea, hehe!

Well I have a full blown cold now. It was an itchy throat for 4 days but yesterday the sneezing started so now I"m congested and coughing. Breathe Right strips are my friend at night, my god they are brilliant. And sticking with cough syrup just before bed helps keep the cough down at night too. Babe has been doing great with sleep again the last few nights and has not woke up at 11:00pm since Monday or Tuesday. He's also gone to bed after 10 minutes of hard crying and then me cuddling very quickly with him in his dark room after the crying. I dont think CIO will work for him, he just gets sooooooo angry and worked up. So I think moving our cuddles to his room where it is dark will help. I'm going to try to put him down almost asleep instead of heavy sleep and that seems to be working so far.

We went swimming again today but there was just me (and another dad who didnt know about it but joined us) so the class wasnt much of anything unfortunately. Open swim was right after so we hung out for another 1/2 hour, most of it in the therapy pool. Maxim was really into kicking and flapping his right arm (not the left though, funny boy) and I dunked him. He did pretty well with it, maybe 2 mouthfuls of water but for the most part he acted surprised and then was fine with it.

I'm so annoyed. I did this LONG post of personals over the whole morning adding to it when I had time and then when I went to post it it said something ridiculous about authorization blah blah and was lost. So I took about a 12 hour break LOL and am back to quickly attempt them again. They won't be as good but that isn't my fault;)

Ella: I'm so sorry about the molars!! I have heard they are the absolute worst! I hope they pop through soon.

Anna: Teddy must be so much fun to be around. It is amazing how much growing up they do in the first 3 years. I'm sure he'll like sweets in about 10 years but for now it is great!

Sandy: I would also just wait on the TTC talk. I'm sure when the time comes he will be for it.

Alyssa: Sorry that Evan cried about but as long as you are in a family friendly place and he isn't doing it for long periods of time everyone understands. Also flying isn't that bad. Teddy barely cried at all. The problem was he barely slept either on the way over so DH and I had to spend about 10 hours straight keeping him enterntained in a very small space. It was completely exhausting for us but we got compliments on his behavior and it really wasn't so bad. Just not at all like flying without a baby! Although I do know some people luck out and get babies who happily babble and sleep the whole time.

Sarah: That must have been SO scary! I'm so glad you are all doing better now. Sorry to hear that Eloise may be weaning but I have heard that interest can wane and then come back and maybe that will be the case for you.

Adrienne:I'm sure your party is going to be awesome! We used a swing for 40-90% of Teddy's naps (depending on age) from the time he was 4 months until 7 1/2 months. It was SO easy to transfer him over to doing all naps in his crib once he was older and better at sleeping in general. So if I was in your position I would just buy a bigger swing:) We got some amazing naps from ours at the end the thing was barely moving because Teddy was so clearly over the weight limit LOL.

Ruby: Sorry that the swim class was a bit empty this time but great that he did well when you dunked him. I'm glad that sleep seems to be going better as well.

AFM: Yesterday I was a bit bad and bought a new diaper bag and a new stroller. The diaper bag at least was needed my skip hop is basically falling apart at the seams. Plus a website called diaperbagboutique was doing 20% off most of their bags so I was able to get a really good deal. The stroller however will now be our 3rd. I told DH yesterday that I will sell our Quinny 3xl freestyle as even though I have only had it a few months it really isn't exactly what I wanted (although the feature of having baby face you even though it is a jogger is AMAZING) but I didn't tell DH that I had already bought a new one. I think he suspects that I will buy a new one in the States but I have sort of implied that I will get an umbrella stroller and I don't think he will think the city mini qualifies. Hopefully he likes it so much that he doesn't mind:)

Teddy is finally starting to really feel better. Yesterday was the first day he didn't barf all over me while I nursed him in the morning and today was the first diarrhea free day in a week. Now we just have to get naps and nighttime sleep back on track. I still feel pretty sick and am bit worried that the antiobiotics aren't working but thankfully it is the weekend so I have DH to help.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!!

Sandy, I think it's probably one full week, just to be safe, but I could be wrong.
