If anyone has
Alyssa--Yeah the PG on IV is TOTALLY dead but I think that is because most of us use the FB group now.
Sorry I've been MIA but I have been reading every single post! As you can imagine, I'm quite busy these days between student teaching and being sick. Yes, I'm sick yet again. Was diagnosed with the flu (respiratory, not stomach) last week and then Selin came down with a double ear infection a few days later. Now DH is sick so we're just a household of germs! I've been on antibiotics pretty much since the beginning of Dec., which means DH and I haven't DTD since then because we absolutely cannot risk an oops since we still don't have maternity coverage.
Selin is feeling much better now that she's on meds for her ear infection. She had a rough weekend, waking up nearly every hour, but the last few nights she's only woken up once, which I can totally deal with. Her bottom two teeth are also very close to coming through so she's teething on top of everything else.
We were part of the major blizzard that hit the Midwest and got about 20 inches Tuesday night. Needless to say,
I'm so annoyed. I did this LONG post of personals over the whole morning adding to it when I had time and then when I went to post it it said something ridiculous about authorization blah blah and was lost. So I took about a 12 hour break LOL and am back to quickly attempt them again. They won't be as good but that isn't my fault;)
Ella: I'm so sorry about the molars!! I have heard they are the absolute worst! I hope they pop through soon.
Anna: Teddy must be so much fun to be around. It is amazing how much growing up they do in the first 3 years. I'm sure he'll like sweets in about 10 years but for now it is great!
Sandy: I would also just wait on the TTC talk. I'm sure when the time comes he will be for it.
Alyssa: Sorry that Evan cried about but as long as you are in a family friendly place and he isn't doing it for long periods of time everyone understands. Also flying isn't that bad. Teddy barely cried at all. The problem was he barely slept either on the way over so DH and I had to spend about 10 hours straight keeping him enterntained in a very small space. It was completely exhausting for us but we got compliments on his behavior and it really wasn't so bad. Just not at all like flying without a baby! Although I do know some people luck out and get babies who happily babble and sleep the whole time.
Sarah: That must have been SO scary! I'm so glad you are all doing better now. Sorry to hear that Eloise may be weaning but I have heard that interest can wane and then come back and maybe that will be the case for you.
Adrienne:I'm sure your party is going to be awesome! We used a swing for 40-90% of Teddy's naps (depending on age) from the time he was 4 months until 7 1/2 months. It was SO easy to transfer him over to doing all naps in his crib once he was older and better at sleeping in general. So if I was in your position I would just buy a bigger swing:) We got some amazing naps from ours at the end the thing was barely moving because Teddy was so clearly over the weight limit LOL.
Ruby: Sorry that the swim class was a bit empty this time but great that he did well when you dunked him. I'm glad that sleep seems to be going better as well.
AFM: Yesterday I was a bit bad and bought a new diaper bag and a new stroller. The diaper bag at least was needed my skip hop is basically falling apart at the seams. Plus a website called diaperbagboutique was doing 20% off most of their bags so I was able to get a really good deal. The stroller however will now be our 3rd. I told DH yesterday that I will sell our Quinny 3xl freestyle as even though I have only had it a few months it really isn't exactly what I wanted (although the feature of having baby face you even though it is a jogger is AMAZING) but I didn't tell DH that I had already bought a new one. I think he suspects that I will buy a new one in the States but I have sort of implied that I will get an umbrella stroller and I don't think he will think the city mini qualifies. Hopefully he likes it so much that he doesn't mind:)
Teddy is finally starting to really feel better. Yesterday was the first day he didn't barf all over me while I nursed him in the morning and today was the first diarrhea free day in a week. Now we just have to get naps and nighttime sleep back on track. I still feel pretty sick and am bit worried that the antiobiotics aren't working but thankfully it is the weekend so I have DH to help.
I hope everyone has a good weekend!!
Quick question ladies...I have to go to antibotics as I have this horrible cough and the dr thinks I may have a bit of an infection. Anyway does anyone know after I stop taking them that I can

Sandy, I think it's probably one full week, just to be safe, but I could be wrong.
I'm so behind on this thread I don't think I will ever have the time to catch up ... but I wanted to wave hi to everyone ... so hi!!!
