Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted, but I check the boards often! This thread has been a bit intimidating because of the hundred posts, but now I feel slightly caught up! I totally need a new siggy, but it's one of those things I just don't have time for these days!

A few personals...

Mari - Fede walking was adorable! Yay!

Carly - So good to see you around more lately. I think of you all the time. I'm so glad Tad is doing so well; he's so cute.

Cassie - I'm sending so many positive vibes your way on the job front...that's go to be so frustrating!

Name/DH Name: Erin/A

Kids names and ages: Avery, almost 6 months

Pets names and ages? Grizby, pug, 5

Are you also NPP, WTT, TTCing, or PG?

Good to see you around here, Erin! Can't believe Avery is already almost 6 months old!!

I loved this, btw: "She does better with it during the days, but nights she wakes up like "Oh hellll no." Haha. This was Eliza, too. It will get better! Even though Eliza still wakes up all "oh helll no" (and so we are still co-sleeping part-time, for the second half of the night), it has gotten a lot better since she was first starting the night out in her crib (around 7 months). Glad you've found a routine - I don't think I really had one until Eliza was about 5/6 months old, so you're not alone!

Hope to see you around more! I don't really get much chance to post a lot, either - it's hard sometimes!!

Erin, I remember Fede sleeping like that when he was 5 months old. He does better now, He sleeps in his bed for 2 or 3 hour stretches, but if he wakes up he needs me by his side to fall asleep again, of course that means that most times I fall asleep with him and wake up the next morning in his bed.... I think much of his waking up is to BF (purely for comfort), so I hope that once I wean him, he can finally begin to STTN. Anyways, all this to say.. you are not alone, at least Ella and me passed through the same thing!

Thanks Mari and Ella! It's good to know that with all stages, this too shall pass! :) I don't mind co-sleeping if that's what it takes to get sleep, but I wake up hurting b/c either my arm has been bent for hours or I haven't moved an inch and my whole body hurts! I'll be glad when we're down to half-nights of co-sleeping!

On the weaning front, we're starting solids and I'm reading Baby-Led Weaning. DH, who of course hasn't read it, is freaking out that Avery is going to choke. I know a few of you guys did BLW...what can I tell him to assure him about its safety? (Hmmm, might start this in a separate thread!)
