Kass - I love that picture too. It is so Eloise. There are a couple of other ones that I have where if looks could kill, DH, me and the photographer would be dead. The girl knows her own mind.

Adrienne - Does James have an amber necklace? Seriously I love mine with both my early teethers, we never had bad teething with either of them. I did have to give Desmond Tylenol a few times, but I swear the necklaces made life 100 times better. The one weekend his broke, before his new one arrived, was horrible though, I was so glad to see his new necklace the following Monday. The only way I even knew Eloise was getting teeth was she would nurse more at night. That being said, maybe try a carrier and bouncing on a birthing/exercise ball and see if that helps some? Or cold wash clothes or frozen breast milk in one of those mesh bags to chew on?

As for how long to pop a tooth, erm anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of months unfortunately, and often the earlier they are teething the longer it takes for them to pop unfortunately.

Thank you for the sig Mary

It could take weeks Adrienne...the teething pain comes and goes too. It seems early for him to be teething but every babe is different too. Hugs!

Hylands were recalled. I was bummed as they worked wonders with David. David started teething around 4 mos too but did not get his first tooth until 8 mos. Hope your little guy gets his faster. And now he is getting his molars 2 at once it is horrible again. The only thing when he is really miserable is baby motrin.
