AFM - if you haven't read my weaning/IBS post, I dropped down to 1 pump recently and it looks like my body is shutting down milk production. The last two mornings I haven't even been able to get enough for one bottle for Evan. So, it looks like I'll be done sooner than I thought. It's kind of sad, because I was under the impression that I could have stayed at one pump for a while, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Oh well. I did my best, and made it past the 6-month mark that was my initial goal.
Evan and I leave on Friday to go visit family and friends! I'm excited for them to meet him but SO not excited for the flights. I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst ;) If the worst happens, at least it's only for a couple hours! LOL!

Alright.... my life may have finally calmed down enough for me to tentatively come back to the board! I've really missed you all and I hate that I've missed so much! I'm gonna have to start fresh I guess! I'll start with my check in!

Are you also NPP, WTT, TTCing, or PG? If so, how is it going? Well I guess I can say we are WTT now. Maxim will be a year next week so I'm considering and weighing TTC once again. However, we wont be TTC until next May after Maxim turns 2 and my 30th birthday. I want a big birthday party for my 30th and dont want to be carrying a baby belly or milk boobs around, lol. But that could also change...if I dont get a job in the next 6 months, then we wont be TTC in May either. So we dont really have a rigid timeline about it. I rate my baby fever at around a 3-4...not enough to notice it usually, except when I see a baby belly or newborn, I get a little wistful and hopeful but still very happy and content with our family of 3.
How are things with you and/or DH? Good.
Give us a quick story and/or milestone about each of your kids! Sweet boy Maxim will be ONE next week!! Holy moly, its crazy. He's a moving and he's cruising now too, pushing his play table across the floor. He's going to skip crawling altogether. He's babbling up a storm and screaming...any tips to get him to stop screaming would be appreciated. Its extremely annoying and its painful on the ears. He screams for attention and when he's impatient...it will likely be something he'll just have to outgrow until he finds more words i'm sure but its sure trying on our nerves. He can also clap his hands. Oh and today we made a trip to the US Consulate in Toronto to get his US Citizenship..so he's one step closer now, just waiting to get processed.
What are you most looking forward to this month? My birthday is on Mothers Day, Maxim's birthday, his birthday party. I cant wait to make his birthday cake...chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. On his birthday, it will just be the 3 of us and then his party with family will be on Saturday the 14th. We're doing a cake smash on his birthday and we're setting up a tarp on the floor with him to sit on and eat his cake. Cant wait to get some good pictures. Will have to make a second cake for his birthday party too.
