This is just a quick question I've been wondering about since we are starting the registering process.

I haven't read the PP responses, so this may be duplicating some great advice I am sure you've already received.

I have an Avent pump and Avent bottles from when I BF and pumped for the first 12 mos for my little one. And I plan on using them for Baby #2 (after I conceive)

Here's a quick rundown of why I like(d) them.

Avent let's you pump directly into the bottle.
Storage caps/discs, so you can just screw on the nipple.
Everything is interchangeable.
They are the safe plastic of course.
They stood up to sterilization and dishwasher cycles.
They come in a variety of sizes (4, 6, 8, 9 and 11 oz)
Marked in metric and us measurements.

I gave my bottles away to a co-worker who was fostering a baby, she kept the baby for 1 week and still has my bottles! So I'll be using all new bottles. Not that I'd want the bottles back, but I gave her a bathtub, clothes, toys, etc thinking she would have the baby for a couple of months. But I digress...

HTH!

Obviously I'm not a BTDT mom, but I did some research for when we registered.

I know you've already gotten some great answers, but wanted to say that we are using the Prince Lionheart bottles.
