So I'm 39 weeks and now getting quite antsy . . . as you've all noticed, LOL!

If you lost your mucous plug before labor began, how long was it from losing it until starting to have contractions? **I'm pretty sure I lost mine about 2 weeks before I ended up going in to labor. I called my midwife about it, and she said that it didn't mean labor was quickly to follow - thankfully she was right!
How did it come out (on the toilet paper, into the toilet, in your underwear, etc?)? **I saw it on both the toilet paper and in the toilet.
Did you lose it in pieces or all in one chunk? **It came out over 1-2 days.
What did it look like? **Like EWCM, except a bit more "snotty" (LOL!) and had streaks of blood in it.
I wasn't really sure if it was the mucus plug or not honestly. I figure it must have been because of the descriptions I've heard from other women. After it came out, I found that my discharge was very much like EWCM for the rest of my pregnancy.

I have no idea when I lost mine most likely while in labor when I was on my back after the epi.

Adrienne - I have NO idea if I lost mine or not..I never had really anything happen until I was in labor and then I started having some bloody show but don't know about the MP.
