Hi ladies, I figured since you've actually used your carseats at this point, you might have some pointers on what's important to look for, in general.

For anti rebound I think you need a Truefit Premiere. It is the only car seat I know of that has one, but I have no clue how it will fit in a truck. Other options might be a Radian or a Britax since they allow tethering rearfacing so that would keep the seat more in place in case of a crash. I don't know how they would fit in a truck either though.

As for infant seats I don't think you will find on that does what you want, so you may just need to go straight to a convertible seat. In which case either the Radian 80 or XT or the Truefit Premier are your best bets, since Britax seats do not fit newborns well.

You might want to ask your question on the ivillage car seat board as see what they have to say, another good place for info is car-seat.org, they deal with a lot of carseat questions.

DH has a pick up and while its only the fly doors the base to our infant seat fits just fine in there. I don't think ours has the bar that you are wanting but i just wanted to let you know the base fits.
