I haven't talked with my midwife yet about this, but will be in January when I have my yearly with her.

Has anyone's doctor gave a recommendation for when your body should be ready for another pregnancy? **My midwife strongly suggested not trying until after a year. She said that's about the time the body takes to fully recover from a pregnancy.

Has anyone's doctor gave a recommendation for when your body should be ready for another pregnancy? Not really. We did discuss me having another at my yearly visit in September and she said not to wait too long because of my age. I have reached the magical age of 35.
Anyways, the whole thing has me thinking about whether or not pregnancy, birth and motherhood has changed your plans for children.

Nope, although she definitely did say that she would like to see me not pregnant in the coming year. In terms of health I really don't think it is ideal for a woman to be pregnant within a year of giving birth.
Anyways, the whole thing has me thinking about whether or not pregnancy, birth and motherhood has changed your plans for children.
