We've been cloth diapering Juliet since the beginning, and recently she has been wetting through her nighttime diaper.

Hi Emmy! We had the same problem with Eliza so we actually switched to using a disposable diaper overnight around 4/5(?I think?) months old. We've been happy with the change and the fact that she doesn't wake up soaked. I know we might have been able to find a cloth solution that would have worked, but we were ok with having her in one disposable a day. Now she is actually starting to wake up with completely dry diapers 5 or 6 mornings a week, so we are planning on putting her back in cloth overnight now.

Sorry I can't be of more help with a cloth solution - I know lots of CD mamas use cloth overnight so I'm sure you'll get lots of good advice :)

We went through this with Evan--we had BG OS's (pocket diapers) and at one point had him wearing 3 inserts, which only sort of worked because that amount of padding created a huge gap at his thighs. Right now Anna is wearing 2 inserts in her diaper and that is working so far.

One of my friends recommended GoodMama brand cloth diapers--they worked for her son at night (he was also a super soaker), and also Hemp inserts.

Emmy--I use BG OS pockets at night, but I stuff them with cotton flats folded to fit. With the way I have it folded, there are 8 layers of fabric to catch pee. I can use two flats for even more protection, and they're trim enough it doesn't make it too bulky. If I need even more, I just add a hemp insert (joey bunz) under the flat.

Check out Swaddlebees flats for what I'm talking about. I've found that the cotton works way better at night than the microfiber.

We use one of two - either a prefold with a hemp soaker and a cover, or a Rumparooz with a SuperDo insert.

Like Ella we do sposies at night because nothing we had would keep Simon dry at night. Unless he was so stuffed he looked like a pear. LoL

I was having the same problem with Teddy so we started using disposables just at night, and we're happy with the switch. But recently I found someone to make custom cloth diapers (because he's so tall and lean), and I am really happy with her. I was thinking about trying her's at night. You can find her on FB.
