Hey All, Sorry I've been MIA, just trying to get a lot done at home instead of wasting hours on the internet!

But I'm wondering what all of you cosleeping Mommies do . . .

...for naps? HE slept next to me in our bed

...at night? just the same

What's your arrangement in terms of where the baby sleeps and where you and DH sleep? We all slept together in the same bed with a safety rail on my side so he wouldn't fall

Has it changed since the baby was small? Since we only have a double bed, things got tight pretty soon. So our solution was to bring a twin bed into our room, and so we kind of extended our bed into a sort of king size. Once he was 10 or 11 months we transitioned him into the same twin bed but on his own room (which kind of became my room since he nursed so much at night, but that's another story!)

Did you ever or do you now swaddle the baby for naps or at night? Nope we never did.

We co-sleep with our little ones.

One more thing (since I posted my comment before reading the others):
I was interested to see how everyone else managed the sleep position. I also held my babies in the crook of my arm, and I moved them from one side to the other as they needed to nurse. They were latched on for much of the night. As for the bedding, I bought myself warmer pajamas, and only had blankets up to about mid-thigh (and no pillow) until the boys were over a year old. I always felt safe, and like many co-sleeping parents, I found that I was amazingly in tune with their movements and sounds. I never woke up to find them anywhere but right in my arm. (This did lead to elbow pain for me though!)
