"I was waiting for the cerebral shift where he would get the other kinds of signs and here we are! Now that we can communicate better, as you guys are saying, it is crazy what he already understands. If he's paying attention I feel like he pretty much gets everything I say. I feel like that happened so suddenly!!!"

I totally hear you on this Adrienne! We don't do the signing thing, but Evan's capability to understand us is amazing. About a week ago, I was looking for Evan's soother, and said "Where's your soother?"...he looked around, found it, grabbed it, and handed it to me! I was FLABBERGASTED! LOL! So, we try doing things like that throughout the day. If he doesn't know what something is, we'll say the word a few times while pointing to an object. Then, we'll ask him where it is a while later and he'll go get it. It's crazy. We really need to watch what we're saying now! LOL!

Quick post here as I was out tonight with our women's club group for our Christmas party and I need to head to bed soon. Anyway.. David had his 2 yr visit today. He is 60th percentile for weight 28.8lbs and 90th percentile for height 36 inches.

Hope everyone has a good Friday...So happy tomorrow's Friday it's been a long week at work this week and I can't wait to spend the weekend with my little guy. I look forward to the weekends so I can spend time with him since sometimes I feel so guilty having to work and send him to daycare I wish we had enough money so I could stay home with him. If it wasn't for my DH"s student loans..oh well! . Although I am working overtime Saturday morning but it's extra money for us and we can always use the extra money.

I'm not a BTDT but we plan to move Maxim to a big bed when he turns 2 OR if he climbs out of his crib before then. We also plan to move him right to a double size bed, not a toddler or twin bed.

Ella, we still have Simon in the crib. We have attempted in a full size bet a few times and he just flips and flops to much. he hasn't tried to crawl out of the crib yet. So as far as I am concerned he will probably be there till he is over two. That and with our current living conditions I'm not comfortable putting him in a bed cause there is so much stuff in his room ( that he shares with his cousin) that if he falls out he will hit a dresser.

Good luck with deciding!

Ella - Were still using a crib too as Selin hasn't really attempted to climb out yet. GL!

Suzie - Always great To hear from you! Hope your DH gets the promotion and your house sells quickly! What was the reason for your recent move??
