James says "bye Bye" You have to wait until the end.
Weird, maybe I gave the wrong link. Try this one:
He doesn't "say" bye bye so much as waves ;-)
Very cute! Does James pull up on things already?
Also, is that the full-size arm's reach cosleeper there?
Yes and no about the pulling up, you pretty much experienced the extent of his pulling up skill. He can also pull up on people, like by grabbing their shirt when he's sitting on their lap. I think soon he'll be pulling up though. He's getting more and more mobile every day.
And yes, it's the full size arms reach co-sleeper. I think I'm going to have to find something else for him to sleep in once he can sit himself up, because from a sitting position I think he could get out of there.
Does Patrick sit himself up yet? Is he crawling? James can move a fairly considerable distance, but I rarely see him do it, and it's definitely not by crawling...
Oh and since I'm talking about it, James finally learned to roll. Every time I laid him on his tummy last night, he would roll onto his back. He's been capable of this for a while but yesterday is the first time he did it consistently and purposely!
Ah. I miss the mini co-sleeper, but sounds like it's probably not worth getting the full-size one now. We need to work on our night routine, b/c I'm having to get up 3-4 times/night sometimes. (And then when he does sleep well, I keep waking up anyway b/c I worry something's wrong!)
Patrick's not pulling up/pulling to sit/crawling yet. He can't actually be trusted to sit and not fall back and whack his head, so we keep a pillow behind him still. However, he's mastering falling to the side and then onto his belly. Then he gets pretty far by rolling, spinning, and pushing himself backward on his tummy. He's venturing further and further through the house everyday. I should post a video. The past couple days he's been managing to get to other rooms even. We need to start getting on top of childproofing!
James is the same way with sitting. Sometimes he'll sit for 30 minutes without launching backwards, other times he rocks back right away, so wee keep a pillow behind him just in case. That's impressive he gets to other rooms! James rarely makes it off of his blanket.
James is the same with waking up at night, but since he's still in the cosleeper it's not so bad. I don't think the full size co-sleeper would be very useful for patrick, but if you really want him in your room like that, you could try doing a sidecar crib. My friend does that. My plan for when James outgrows the co-sleeper part of his bed is to convert it into the play yard option or whatever it's called and leave it in our room next to the bed. We don't actually have a crib, or an extra room for James! (we did have a spare room, but now our nephew lives with us part time, so we don't...)
Kelly, it's true with Elena being born early, and James late, they're actually nearly a month apart in conception age.
In the spirit of the season, here's Elena's very first picture with Santa!
Grace, what a cute video! Love his smiles :-)
Kelly, wow a Santa photo! Elena looks a bit grumpy though;-) But I adore the pic you've got in your siggy with her in the stocking, that's just too sweet!
Lorien, can't wait to see a video or more photos of Patrick!
I've attached a fairly recent pic of Teddy, nothing special just taken before we went out for our evening walk. We have both been so poorly lately that I haven't really taken any photos in weeks!
