How did you choose your iV screenname? Well, I was supposed to graduate with my Masters and teaching cert back in '09 but after stopping my program twice, it got pushed to this spring.

Valentine's Day - Romantic or over-rated? I think it's over-rated. We usually don't do anything on the day of, especially since my birthday is 5 days before so we usually have a combo celebration. DH and I don't really celebrate the "Hallmark holidays". I'm excited to see how my students are on that day though. I already have a 3rd grade boy who is pining for a 5th grade girl. :-)

What are you looking forward to this month? Celebrating mine and Selin's birthdays, picking my research topic (for my Masters) so I can

Andi- I know this isn't very "American" and is probably also a little "bad parent" LOL but Thomas and I totally let Theo run around naked in the summer, on the beach, on vacations,etc. Of course we put sun block on him and normally don't go out at the sun's peak but we also don't make him wear the long sleeved stuff that some parents do. I think partially because I only got burnt once in my life and so don't take it very seriously and partially because we live somewhere without much sun so we try to really enjoy when it is here.

Anyway don't feel too bad, now the nanny will know and it won't happen again. I don't think pink noses once will lead to skin cancer :D

Kate- I agree with Andi, he sure looks like he has some greek genes (or something else "mediterranean"). He will be a handsome guy!!! It's too funny that with your DH being part native American Teddy turned out so blonde and pale!!!!

Katie- I'm so sorry that February holds so many sad memories for you... I hope in time that changes. (hugs!)

Morgan- I also had hemorrhoids showing up after delivery…. They sure suck,b ut the do get better after a while. I agree with the PP advice, in mycase, what really worked was eating high fiber foods every day. Try to stay away of stool softeners and such unless it's an emergency, because your body tends to get used to them and then you need stronger stuff to do the "trick".

Andi- I agree with Ash… you are not a bad mom for what happened and I'm sure it's nothing!!! Fede is quite white and

Valentine's Day - Romantic or over-rated? A fun date night! This year DH is out of town but otherwise I do like the excuse to definitely go out for a nice meal and a fun date :)

What are you looking forward to this month? Going away to a spa hotel for a weekend, having friends come for a weekend, and maybe booking a flight to the States for Teddy and I.
