Ash: Rosemarie is pretty, it was actually on our list of girl names for Theodore.

Theodore usually gets up around 6 to 6:30. The big boy usually gets up 6:30 to 7.

Simon is up somewhere between 5:30-8:30. Most mornings I have to wake him up around 6:45 so we can get him ready and have breakfast before day care. On the weekends its between 7-8:30.

Elyse,

I'm up before 5am during the week because 95% of the time, my DH leaves the house before me and I need to leave the house with Selin by 6:30. I wake her up by 6:15 but before then, I have to shower, get dressed and eat breakfast hence the reason I wake up so early. There have been one or two times Selin has woken up early and I've just had to let her hang out in her crib until I'm out of the shower.

I also try to do as much prep as I can the night before - make my lunch, put diaper bag and my school stuff in the car, etc, which gives me a little extra time in the morning.

Forgot to add that on the weekends, she will sleep past 7am if we let her but lately I've been waking her up by 6:45am otherwise she won't nap for me. She's in bed every night by 8pm.

Well it looks like Hector is out. Too many issues regarding German or English spelling and how it would come across in both countries. I think we probably won't worry about it too much until we find out the sex. I'm really sick so DH came home last night instead of tonight which has been a lifesaver now I can go to the doctor alone, got to sleep in, etc. I just wish I didn't feel so miserable, especially when Tylenol does nothing for me. I'm hoping to get on antibiotics as this seems to be something I have had a few times before.

Elyse: Teddy goes to bed at 7/7:30 and wakes up at 7/7:30 a few times he has woken up at 8 but that isn't normal. When he is getting new teeth he wakes up at 6/6:30. Wake up times are something we haven't been able to influence. He naps 11/2 and weekends are the same as weekdays.

Hi girls! Just caught up with the last posts... Time for my monthly check in ;)
Ella, I thought you might have wandered into TTC territory when I saw the knitted baby hat pic ;) Good Luck!
Ash, I love Hector but DH doesn't. I think we have similar taste in terms of names ;) My favourites for my hypothetical third son are Ernest or Hugo at the moment.
Emmy, that video is so cute! And she is doing so wellti be walking so early!
Katie, whoo hoo for your date - he sounds very promising and I hope it works out - you deserve some good luck in life, girl!
Hi to everyone else (sorry, personals are hard work on a phone)!
AFM - I don't know if any of you remember we were house hunting (btw my commiserations Cassie! I know how disappointing it is to have offers rejected!)? Well we finally BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! Well, we are still in the process of buying, but we are aiming to complete on 21 March :) it's a 4 bed semi in the next village, only 5 minutes from where we are now. It has plenty of space for us and is in excellent order - no repairs needed, just redecoration (the vendors are a pensioner couple...). We are so excited. And the village primary school has an 'outstanding' rating, with only 13 pupils in a year, which will be great for Teddy! I do worry sometimes as he will start school next year and I can tell he is less mature than his girl friends in terms of sitting down and concentrating for long periods, so he will really benefit from a small school.
Speaking of which, I can't believe he will be 3 in two days!! Where has my baby gone?! Instead I'm dealing with a rocket fuel powered, non stop chattering little boy ;)
Bo is also doing well, aside from his sleep habits - yep, still up every 2 hours! - but I've made my peace with that now. I guess because he is my second, I know how quickly the baby stage will pass; so I'm just trying to focus on the good things. He won't want to snuggle in bed with me forever! He's a bit later in everything than Teddy, but still doing ok (crawling at 6.5 months, cruising at 7.5 months). He loves whizzing around with his push along walker as this allows him to keep up with his brother a bit more ;) And, unlike Teddy, he is such a good eater! BLW = total success!
Ok, that was a very long update. Hope everyone is doing well!

Cassie- Yes my foot is better. I'm not wearing the air cast anymore but there is still a little swelling but I'm sure that's normal. If it doesn't go down after awhile I'll call the doctor back but I am sure i can probably put ice on it too.

As far as sleep times before we started having sleep issues...I would have to wake him at 7:15

Anna,

Congratulations on the house!! Sounds perfect! Have you sold your current house already?

Happy early birthday to Selin's birthday buddy! Can't believe Teddy is 3 already!

Thanks Christine! We are renting at the moment so we weren't affected by the house price crash and able to save up a substantial deposit :)
How do you feel about Selin turning two? Isn't it crazy how the time flies?? Just got a big cake for Teddy's big party on Saturday - 30 children aged 5 and under! That's bound to be loud ;) This year is the first that he is really aware of his birthday, and looking forward to it (and the party).
