Phew - I finally caught up on all the posts.

Sandy - Sorry for the YI, those suck! Make sure to add probiotics to your diet, I usually take one every day and I eat a yogurt a day. I tend to get them a bit more than "usual". Did your doc give you something for it, I always ask for Difulcan, it's a pill and it's one dose and it's awesome!

Ash - Have fun on your night away that sounds awesome. DH always tells me to do that and if I get pregnant I might end up doing that this summer sometime.

Andi - I would forget about the comment. If you want I can ask my cousin about something like that she is a pediatric OT.

Waving hi to everyone else! Sorry too tired for personals. But I did read them all.

Thanks for the support on the TTC & BF'ing. I know it can be done and I am feeling much more positive about it today than I was the other day. my OPK gave me a + result this morning and I had some EW CM yesterday and today! So DH and I BD a few times. so I am hoping....now just waiting.

I had an awesome visit with my grandpa today. I haven't been super close to him and I have felt super guilty about it. He is 86 (almost 87) and in a nursing home. I have never really known how to talk with him and he has trouble hearing so it makes it difficult. So I usually only visit him when my mom or parents or some other family member is there. So I haven't seen him in way too long. I bit the bullet and just went with Gabby today by myself and I had only planned on staying for like 30 minutes, but I ended up being there for like an hour! He loved seeing Gabby and had a lot of fun with her. Gave her 2 quarters he won at cards the night before - he gives out quarters to all the kids/adults - he gave a bunch out at our wedding :smileyhappy: But we had a great time and I think it really made his day. I am going to try to go a few times a month. I can't go next weekend but maybe the weekend after that. He won't be around forever and I really want to make his days happy and be there with him while he is here.

anyway we had an awesome mama & daughter day. Even though I learned not to give her one of those smoothie pouches of baby food in the car without anyone back there. I looked back and she apparently started playing with it. While it was annoying it was so adorable!

I was not going to go off bcp until april but now I am thinking just to be done after this pack. Started my sugar pills today. Abstain in march and just chart until I get the hang of my cycles. We decided to try this summer not sure if June or July yet. I won't be actually trying before then and will use NFP to not get pregnantbut if it happens then it was meant to be. But we are aiming for a spring/summer baby. Anyway David still gets up at night and I am worried my temps will be off. For those who use it and their lo's still get up at night does it throw off your temps? Also does anyone have a thermometer that does not beep so I won't wake dh up? Mine beeps and I was wondering if there was one that didnt. Also I did not take the class we could not afford it right now plus I know a lot anyway. I may buy the book on the NFP website and take a class before I am breast feeding because I heard it is hard to tell signs then compared to when you are not. I could be wrong though. Sorry for so many questions.

I also forgot to mention that we do baths with oatmeal and milk. We just take normal oatmeal and grind it up and then put about 1 cup of oatmeal and 2 cups whole milk in warm water and let him sit. It helps with skin and calms things down when his skin is really irritated.

Andi, Fletcher's eczema was worse when he was younger, and the doctor recommended baths only every 2-3 days, Eucerin daily, and hydrocortisone cream for flare-ups. That regimen really helped, and the skin on my hands was so soft from applying the Eucerin! Fletcher's eczema didn't start until he was two, and it has improved quite a bit. We no longer do the daily Eucerin, but when the Eucerin flares, we treat it the same way.

Thanks ladies for your responses on the eczema. I've been to the drug store and bought all the recommendations so we'll see what works for her! So far it hasn't been that bad so I'm hoping she won't have too many flare-ups.

Also thanks for the encouragement about what the OT said at our appointment. The more I think about it, the more irritated I get about someone seeing a child for less than 5 minutes and making a statement like that. But that has also helped me to be less upset about it because it was based on virtually nothing and has such little merit. Sometimes people should really think before they open their mouths. :smileyfrustrated:

Fede still wakes up at night, so for the brief months I charted before getting pregnant I only charted CM... It's not as accurate as it would be with the temps, but it is something. Also, I hear that combined with cervical position you get a pretty clear idea.

Hi everyone!

The hotel night was fab- I highly recommend it if you can swing it:) It was so great to have no one asking me for anything, and to just do exactly what I wanted, when I wanted to. Of course coming home was nice too:) I'm in the loves eating stage of pregnancy so that fit well too LOL.

I definitely look pregnant now although I can still hide it with certain clothes. Sometimes I still can't believe that we are going to be a family of 4 in 6 months!!! I feel bad for kid #2 though- we aren't planning on decorating for him her or anything. The nursery is used as a spare room now since Teddy moved into a larger one, and we aren't planning on taking anything out. I was just planning on buying a new dresser with changing pad and getting a new bassinet for naps during the day. Is that awful of me?? Once baby 2 is older we want it to share a room with Teddy anyway so I just don't really see the point. So far I haven't even taken one "bump" picture, I think at this point in the last pregnancy I had taken about 20!

Mari- From what I've been reading it says to temp if you get up. I try not to get up to pee but sometimes I have to. And sometimes David gets up too but not as much anymore thank goodness. I guess I could take it when I first wake up and then again when I wake up later and see what the difference is. I wish my bladder would cooperate at night but unfortunately I guess that was one of the downfalls of having David.

Sandy - Take your temp when you first wake up. I was taking my temp at like 4:30 in the morning because I knew I would have to get up with Gabby - I stopped temping....But they suggest to not take it twice because it can be confusing. If you are finding that you can't always take it at the same time, then try to figure out a time that would work.

Ash - Glad you had a good time. I so wish I could do that. I keep talking about maybe just going to my friends house for an over night.
