Hey Ladies! I need some ideas of things that are easy to send to daycare with Gabby for lunch. I want her to start getting more chances to eat solids and so I want to start sending things with to daycare.

I was thinking toast, and maybe steamed carrots and broccoli. I know I could probably also send sweet potato chips or fries. any other ideas?

How about cutting up fruit (apples, banana, melon, etc.) This website has a lot of great ideas too: http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/babyfingerfood.htm

What about blueberries? Or cut up pieces of grape? I don't know if she has a good pincer grasp yet, but those were a few of Eliza's faves once she mastered picking up smaller bits of food.

Thanks Ella! I am going to try the blueberries tonight. She can sort of pick up the puffs so I can see blueberries being just as easy. I guess I never thought of the cut up grapes. Do you do a certain kind - like a bigger grape? I think she isn't quite up for those yet, but will keep that in my pocket for later :)

We just do whatever type of grape - just be sure to cut them up so they aren't a choking risk (whole grapes are one of those choke foods).
