First PP cycle (AF)

I'm on day 39 of my first PP cycle and no sign of AF. I had my annual exam with my MW on Monday, they tested my urine and said I was not PG, but to test again in a week just to be sure.
I got my first PP AF on June 5th, had a light period and major cramping two weeks later, then had spotting two weeks after that. According to FF, my longest cycle (when I charted back in 2009) was 40 days. I've always had very regular, predictable cycles so I hope that nothing is majorly wrong with me and it's just my hormones trying to figure out what to do since I'm still BFing as well.
I finished up my last pack of the minipill about two weeks ago and we are doing FAM w/spermicide. Have only DTD once since I got AF last month, although I know it is possible to get PG on that one shot, but I'm still pretty sure that I'm not PG.
How was your first PP cycle? Was it longer or shorter than your pre-pgcy cycles?

I don't really have any advice for you Chrisitne since I obviously haven't BTDT yet but I did want to just send some hugs your way and remind you to hang in there (like you have a choice, right?).
I hope you get into a good rhythm very soon!
Erica - Thanks for clarifying!
Kate,
Yep. I got AF, had a regular 5-6 day flow, and then two weeks after that, had severe cramps and another light period. Two weeks after that, had cramps again but no period. Every other week or so I have a day of light cramping and think that AF is coming but then nada. I would definitely check with your doc about what's going on, just to be on the safe side.
And what is it with DHs being ready to TTC when we're not?!? My DH just brought up again last night that we "need to get started on #2 soon" and it's so frustrating since we have no choice but to wait until I get a new job with insurance. The only alternative at this point is for us to go on his insurance but it will be twice what we're paying now and with me not bringing in a lot right now, we need to be saving as much as possible, not spending more. Grr...
I think your Dh's need to talk to mine. he has finally agreed to #2 but I am the one pushing for it. his only criteria is having david potty trained. So I am starting today now that my MIL is gone. I figured she would have been too much of a distraction.
But, I'm going to be 36 in September and I don't want to be too old. One, I want them to be around 3 yrs apart and two in case it takes me awhile this time I don't want to be too old and still trying. I'm not saying I will but I would rather be safe that sorry.

Sandy - GL with potty training!
After 52 days, AF has arrived! Alleluia!
And she couldn't have come at a better time as DH and I got a little carried away last night and didn't protect as well as we should've. Phew!
