Have you thought about costumes for Halloween yet?

I was thinking of doing Buzz for Desmond and Jessie for Eloise, from Toy Story, but there are no Toy Story costumes small enough for her, she is so tiny that she is still in infant costumes, which gives me less choice. I am not sure what we're going to do now. I think Desmond may still be Buzz though since he loves Buzz.

Some of those are so adorable! I will be hugely pregnant by Halloween, so I'm just going to get an orange shirt and draw a pumpkin face on it (I think someone on the board did this last year, but I can't remember).

Alyssa - I did that, it was so fun! I just bought an orange shirt and pinned black felt to it in the shape of a jack-o-lantern face on the belleh'. I got so many comments on it, and it was super easy! It's perfect for November mamas :-) Post a photo when you do it!!

I have two friends who have offered me their DDs costumes from years prior. One friend has a pumpkin costume but has to dig it out of her attic and double-check the size and another friend has a butterfly costume that she believes is 18-24 mos. but said if she wore it over a coat (which we might need since last Halloween it was FREEZING here!) that it would fit her fine. So hopefully, she's going to be either a pumpkin or a butterfly!

I am always asking friends to lend me costumes for the kids. Seems silly to spend a bunch of money on them! I found this gallery of DIY pics that I really liked as well. Love the Princess Leia especially! Too cute. THere are some cute ideas for parents in this one too,

Desmond was that Buzz Lightyear last year. I have the princess Leia costume for Eloise this year, there is a Yoda costume as well which is what Sully is going to wear. I need to get Desmond a Luke Skywalker costume and then we are set for this year.

I did love the elephant costume in there and the bumblebee tutu (Eloise did something similar last Halloween).
