Halloween Costumes!

Okay, so I know it's a bit early, but I am so excited to dress Evan up for Halloween this year! Last year he was only a couple weeks old, so we didn't do much ;) I'm not sure what we'll dress him up as, but I'm definitely starting to think of ideas.
What have your babies/kids dressed up as in the past? What will they be wearing this year?

My Evan was a lion for his first Halloween--I absolutely loved that costume!
William's first Halloween he was 8 days old and wore a pumpkin shirt that we found last minute since he wasn't due until Nov. Last year he was a monkey. Carters has pretty good costumes at a reasonable price, especially if you live near an outlet store and get coupons. This year William will be a dracula- black pants, white shirt and a cape that my mil made for dh when he was a toddler. The cape is so simple- one side is black with a bat on it and the inside is red with bats. William still doesn't have any idea about Halloween so the simpler the better. I have plenty of years for him to fuss over what to be :)

This year we had talked about me making him a minion, you know the little yellow pill looking dudes with the funny eye(s) from i think its Despicable me. And I have a few other ideas. I need to decide so I can start on it.

My MIL has made some pretty cool costumes over the year, I'm not that creative at all. My favorites were the moose, skunk and the duck.

I'm with you, no halloween here.... And I'm so jealous!!!!!!
Last year the government created a mini holiday for carnival, and perhaps that will help resucitate the festivity... I certainly hope so!
Ray has been:
1st year: lion
2nd: duck
3rd: green monster
4th: fireman
5th: sketalton zombie
6th: headless horseman
7th: pumpkin slayer
I can only imainge what this year will bring.
