I've been writing this post in my head for at least a month.
Aww, thanks, Adrienne!
Suzie! So great to hear from you! I think about you often and was wondering how you were doing. Grey is adorable, what a beautiful little guy.
As the others have said, PPD is nothing to be ashamed of and the most important thing is that you sought help. I too am battling anxiety about going back to work in just 3 short weeks but it's getting a little easier as Selin gets older.
Hope to hear from you more often - we miss you! :-D
Suzie - I am so glad you are back!! Welcome back. and your little one is so cute! I can't believe that he is 4 months old already. Where does time go.
I am really glad that you reached out and got some help. And I am really glad that you are starting to feel better. Just remember to keep reaching out.
I had to do the same thing about 2 months ago - I didn't have the anxiety, but more overwhelming feelings and they put me on an anti-depressant. My best friend and Aunt are both on Zoloft and it's worked WONDERS for them!!
Glad to have you back!
(((HUGS))) Suzie! Don't feel bad about MIA and you are certainly not some kind of a "failure" for having to deal with PPD. It is extremely common and you are NOT alone--but it is awesome that you were able to identify it quickly and be honest with your doctor to get the help you needed. That just shows how much of a "success" you are!
Greyson is adorable and you are doing a great job. I hope we see you around more often but your first priority is yourself and your family, so don't worry about "us"--just take care of YOU.
Thanks so much for all of that, Mari!
