What an awesome birth story!!!! I also felt the best standing and walking most of the time, I just felt compelled to do it so that is what I did:) I love hearing your thoughts on your birth!! Absolutely wonderful:) You did an amazing job!

Great birth story, Adrienne! Really well written and I loved every word of it.

Just one comment, while I do like your reflections on giving birth naturally and drawing on your inner strength and agree with them; it is also worth keeping in mind that despite the best preparations things can take a different turn and there might be physical problems that a determined will alone can't overcome.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a criticism and I think it's amazing that you had a natural birth and positive birth experience, but I know that a lot of us who hoped for exactly that encountered unforeseen problems and were left feeling disappointed and beat themselves up about it (myself included) - so it's good to remember that sometimes things will happen that you can't change and there's no point going into "What if's" or blaming yourself.
