If anything else could not go wrong David wakes up with a 101 degree fever this morning. Went back to the dr and his ear infection is still there. if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have taken him. So this is the 3rd round of antibiotics. Hoping it works. I don't want him to have to get tubes in his ears down the road.

Sandy - Sorry that David is sick with an ear infection again! I have BTDT! I know you don't want him having tubes and I was the same way, but I have to say that when Gabby had so many and ones that wouldn't go away it was the BEST thing that we did.

Sorry for no more personals....having a rough day. I am exhuasted, our no sleep continues! I swear this has been the story of my life the last few months. so I am sorry if it's repetitive.
Gabby was up a lot last night and all she wanted to do was nurse, but she wasn't really nursing just using me as a pacifier and after being up at 2:00 until 4:45 I just couldn't do it anymore and I let her CIO. I am totally feeling mommy guilt for it. She didn't stop crying until 5:30. I turned off the monitor and tried to sleep and of course I didn't. DH did but I just laid in bed and listened to her scream until she conked out at 5:30. The poor thing was exhausted when I got her up at 7 this morning for daycare. I wanted to sleep longer, I wanted her to sleep longer but it just couldn't be helped.

I have tried oragel, teething tablets and IB only works for the first part of hte night and i really don't want to keep giving it to her.

Ella- Congratulations on PTing!!! It sounds like Eliza has done such a good job:)

Ruby- We also are no where no PTing. Teddy doesn't exhibit even one sign of being ready or interested. I really don't think we will even consider it until he is 3.

Jess- That sounds so rough! Hang in there!!! I don't have any ideas as it sounds like you are doing everything you can. Will she take a pacifier to give you a rest? I honestly don't know how you moms who get up during the night do it!! The time before Teddy STTN is such a haze for me as I was just so sleep deprived and grumpy. Is there any way your DH can take a night and you sleep in a guest room or somewhere else?

AFM- First trimester is still kicking my butt in terms of nausea and exhaustion- will be thrilled when it is over! Teddy is doing great although he had his first real temper tantrum today- I was so shocked! He just started crying and kicking and laying on the ground for no reason. He didn't want anything, and he didn't stop. Finally I just forced him to get his coat on as we had baby gymnastics and he cried the whole 10 minute walk there. Thankfully once we were there he calmed down and turned into his normal sweet self but it was so strange to not be able to figure out what was wrong or help him. I have to admit that a part of me did also find it amusing to see him throwing himself around on the floor and acting incredibly dramatic- although I didn't let him see that of course:)

Thanks for the support ash. I really just need that more than anything. I threw out all our pacifiers because she stopped taking one around a year. Dh did get up a bit with her but we are in our guest room right now because of the remodel.

I picked her up from daycare and her teacher said that she wanted to be hd all day. She came home and ate a pouch of prunes. Nursed and I'd out. An hour and a half before bedtime. Wish me luck tonight

Jess- have you thought about a teething necklace? I swear it helps Z. hugs!

Ash- tantrums can be hilarious. Hope 2nd T shows up soon.

Ella- woohoo for Eliza! Thats great!

AFM: Z had another growth spurt this last week. He's now in 18m sleepers, outgrowing his 18-24 month tops and some 2Ts fit. Where did my baby go?!?! Tonight he stood for 15 sec too and took one step before falling. I'm not ready for this!

Katie - You will have to explain what a teething necklace is, as I do not have the energy to google it and I have actually never heard of it.

Amy - So you tell us you take a pregnancy test and don't say if it's a negative or not! Seriously you might be preggo?? If I were you and those three little ones I might fall over in shock if I found out I was pregnant!! KUP

AFM - So We had another rough night last night. She came home from Daycare crabby as all can be. Ate a pouch of plums and then went to bed at 5:30. WEll that was on me and I didn't get out of her room until 7 and I just let her scream, but she was out in 10 minutes, so I felt a little better than the previous night.

She was up at 1, I let her nurse for like 40 to 45 minutes and then she was up again at 5:30, nursed for another 45 minutes and we were up for the day. I let her sleep for like 15 minutes or so after she was done nursing. Well when I brought her into the bathroom I noticed all this stuff in her ear. SO YEP!! Ear infection. DH just called me and she has a DOUBLE ear infection> I feel so so so so bad!! My little baby had to be in so much pain. She had blood and fluid draining from her one ear. So she is on antibiotics orally for 10 days + ear drops to help get rid of the wax and fight it within the ears. I feel so bad. We were just in the chiro on Friday afternoon and they said she was fine, I just can't believe it would have come on that fast!

Amy... you can't leave people hanging like that... and how would you even find time to DTD, not to mention it's so early on... I hate suspense (and yes, it's all about me) ;-) )

Jess: Teething necklaces are made out of amber the the amber is suppose to help with the teething pain. Teddy wears one and has been teething since 4 months, with still no toofers... so I couldn't really say if it helps or not. I've been told they have to wear them all the time for them to work, but we do take his off occasionally. I know Sarah's kids all wear them and Adrienne's as well.

Kate - Another dumb question, so they wear them and then chew on them? Do they wear them at night??
