Oh..... I thought it was just that he didn't handle "yes" very well... Glad to know it's normal, although totally annoying!

We're in the NO phase too, only (like most of Peter's words), it's shouted with a drawl. It comes conplete with scrunched up eyes and dramatic head shaking.

We also get a lot of nos. Of course it is how he answers every question- unless you ask if he wants a cookie or a treat then it goes noo..yes!

But I just ignore it and try to pose questions that can't be answered with a yes or no. Plus I don't ask him very much right now. Gentle suggestions are given followed by me leading him to the next activity/task :D

We have passed through the no stage for the time being unless we are out and he doesn't feel like talking to the cashier, etc.

I am sorry for all the sleep troubles, fortunately William has been a great sleeper since the beginning. I'm sure #2 won't be the same. Pay back has to come with how easy William has been.

I hate the "why" stage! That one is obscenely annoying to me! LOL

AFM: Zaydren crawled up a stair the other day. Still teething which screws up our sleep patterns, and is uber cranky that way. BLAH! Ready for them to pop so we go back to our pattern. Otherwise all is good. Found he's allergic to raw carrots and egg yolks. Blah! Went to the Parents as Teachers Playgroup on Monday. Its at 9am which is wayy to early for us. But we'll still try to go so he has new friends. And there is a girl there just 7hrs younger than him which is cool. I don't know if I'm a playgroup kinda mom though. The funniest part is Z is almost the youngest there and almost if not the biggest there. Its for babies that were 2-7 months by Sept.

LOL! Most of the day I get to listen to a chorus of MAMA MAMA MAMA MAMA MAMA MAMA MORE MORE MORE MAMA MORE MORE MINE MINE MINE! Haha, Ash! This literally made me lol. Btdt... ;)

Size conversation- I think people just don't know what to comment on with kids besides cuteness so they just say it. Grey is on the high side for height and the low to normal for weight, but everyone used to comment what a big boy he was. It was starting to give me a complex bc he's also a big eater and I become paranoid I was making him fat. When I could see the situation rationally- he eats healthily, is in motion constantly and he was doing what was developmentally appropriate, I told myself no more. And I stopped obsessing. Life has been better since! ;)

Happy 2nd birthday to Simon!

Erica: Good luck with the t-ball. These schedules can be so demanding on your family timing, but hopefully it will work out wonderfully.

Ray the child who spent soccer sitting around picking flowers, took a ball t the forehead in t-ball and stopped doing bowling because of his growing pains (which turned out to be really flat feet and we've since corrected) wants to play football in the fall. Have mercy. He really should just stick to swim lessons... those he does well.

Sounds like the no stage is going to be until she graduates from high school and moves out ;) We are totally in that stage right now. No

Mari - I am so glad I am not the only one. I love the girl but some times it can be so frustrating.

But then she will go and do what she did tonight. I was laying on the floor while she was playing in her room and she comes over to me with a huge smile on her face and lays her head down on the boppy pillow next to mine and just lays there with me for about 5 minutes. It was the best 5 minutes ever!
