Waving Hi to Everyone! I am too darn tired for personals, sorry and I feel like I am far behind.

Ash - I just wanted to say that I am thinking of you - I saw your post in the pregnancy section..HUGS~! KUP

AFM - Gabby is back to not sleeping. I swear I just get used to her STTN and sleeping like 12 hours and then she starts getting up again. She is breaking through at least 3 teeth if not more - and they seem to be taking forever. I mean I figured after a month they would be in already but they aren't and it takes them so so so long. It doesn't seem normal to me, but I guess she is probably taking after me. I took her to the Chiropractor last Friday and her ears were fine. She said her right one is a little red on top of the tube and that her muscles are tight in her neck and back on that side as well. So I have been trying to massage them when she lets me. I am going to try to raise one end of her crib tonight and hope that helps - can't believe I didn't think to try that earlier. She has another appointment on Wednesday for the Chiro who will check her ears again and do the adjustment. and if it's still bad then I will go into the doctor.

MY parents are taking her for a night on the 21st so I am hoping she will be back to sleeping by then. I am in the 2WW right now, planning on testing on the 17th or 18th, so wish me luck!

We have been having troubles with our daycare so I am hoping for some good news this week. We lost another teacher at her place and it was one of the good ones. The place fired her over email - pretty unprofessional. I have been chatting with another mom and she just pulled her son (Gabby's best bud) and they gave her the riot act when she came to pick him up. They gave them 2 weeks notice and they emailed her and said "TOday will be his last day, we don't need payment for the next two weeks". They are so so so unprofessional. Then I found 12 violations - it seems mostly like paperwork issues. But it's the fact that they can't show they have staff trained all the time on CPR training and that they can't show that there is someone always there that knows CPR. or knows about Shaken Baby Syndrome or SIDS. They had tight fitting sheets in the Infant 2 room, a radio cord hanging down from a shelf and some other things. I am trying not to freak out. but we ended up putting our deposit down for Baby # 2 at the place we want to be at - we are 13th on the waiting list and probably not getting her in until September. It's a popular place. but When I talked with the admission counselor there she actually has a toddler opening and needs a toddler that will be in there until August - which is Gabby. but there are 2 families in front of us, so I am patiently (Or not so patiently) waiting for the phone call that the 2 families in front of us either took it or didn't take it. If they don't she is in! and we can put our notice and go for it. I just hope we get some good news. I would rather not be pregnant and have her in a new day care if I can only have one. :)

I posted this on the waiting to try board but I decided to post on here as well.

Well after I thought we had a date, things have changed. However, it was a mutual decision and he did not try to push it back. However, we are pushing it back to September. We both decided to wait until September. The first due date would be June which means David will be 3.5. We want him at least 3.5 especially the way he's been acting lately. I know no matter when we have another it's going to be an adjustment for him but we decided we'd rather have him at least 3.5 .

Secondly it's finances.. We have a big loan for our credit card debt which will be paid off in October. Also we have some extra debt on another card which we had to use for things we needed fixed this past year and we didn't have the money to pay for it.

Jess- sorry you're having sleep issues... again. :( The other day I was commenting to DH how tired I am working and then coming home to parent all evening, and we GET 10 hours of sleep out of the babies. I cannot imagine trying to function with a poorly sleeping baby on top of it, so I really feel for you!! I hope her teeth break through soon and things get better!

Sandy- sounds like you guys found a date that matches your needs! And what a fun thing to look forward to! ;)

Amy- hope Jensen had a great birthday! Have you gotten any new news about Blakes hip BTW??

AFM- the usual around here. Starting to settle into the work/work from home schedule. It's a lot but we'makin aging. Our nanny is working out super well so I'm very grateful for that. Jules is rolling all the time now and Elia finally started to stand up more often. Today we were out and saw a woman with a teeny tiny baby and it hit me how huge the girls are and how much they've grown. Shocking when you have a side by side comparison, actually. I just can't imagine what the next 6 months will bring.

Andi,

I can totally relate to you on the working mama/tired feeling!

I am up at 4:45am every day and by the time Selin goes to bed at 8pm, I am SO exhausted! Some nights I go to bed right after her, otherwise I try not to stay up past 10pm. I have up to an hour commute each way to/from school and I will definitely be looking for something closer to home if/when I have to go back to work after baby #2. I'm also thinking it might not be a bad idea to look for a nanny if I will have to go back to work because waking up early and dropping one kid off at DC is hard enough, let alone two.

Andi - No we haven't. I am calling later today to see if they were able to book the specialist or not.

Suzie - Thank you!

AFM - So Jensen's party is not until Saturday and his present might not even be there on time now. We only bought him one because it was $200 so now I am like UGH! I know in the end he'll never remember but it stinks. Stupid online ordering.

Jensen had a good day today anyway. I'll edit some pictures of him and his cupcake tomorrow for you guys to see, but for now here is Jensen the last 3 years:

Hi girls!!! Again, no time for personals... this thread moves so fast, which is a great thing, but I just can't keep up! I do read every post though! I'll just post some updates on Fede... We had his 2 year old follow up appt. last week, and it went really well. He is back on the 90percentile on weight and 25percentile on height. but the Dr says he is definitely NOT overweight... just has a very strong body type, which makes total sense, because that's how me and most of my family are. Also on the not talking issue.. the Dr didn't seem concerned either after we told him the things he did say.... He says it is just a matter of "not wanting" to talk, but that he clearly understands everything, and that he is sure that once he goes to DC, he will be talking in a matter of days. The theory was sort of confirmed a few days later, when we left him at MIL's, and when we came back DH and I spied on him for some minutes... we were surprised to hear him saying so many words and even 2word sentences!!! So, clearly, he is talking to the rest of the world and this is a thing with mom and dad... The Dr. also told us that his "sleeping issues" were of the same origin as his "not talking" issues... He basically senses that a new baby is on the way and wants to get all our attention. So yep... basically everything is fine, and what had us worried are just "phases"... About the "sibling" thing...He is doing better, although he still tries to avoid the subject of his little sibling, he is slowly showing some signs of "acknowledgement". LOL! The other night, when I was putting him to bed I was laying down with him for some cuddles, and he placed his naked feet over my belly, just when the baby started a "kick fest". You should have seen the expression in his eyes... he definitely knew those movements were not done by me, and had the most attentive face, waiting for the next kick. SO I seized the opportunity and told him about his little sister and how he would love her and play with her, and how she wanted to come out to be with him. He totally followed my explanations, and I've noticed a change in his attitude towards the subject (not huge, but there is a change!) So that's it for now!!
