I was about to write the same thing, Mari & Cassie!

Btw Mari, just had to share since baby girl will be Julia, right? I have a family at school and their three kids are named Julia, Julian, and Julianna! No joke! ;-)

So I have some exciting baby/kid stuff to share and a not so exciting thing.

So on the 9th, Jensen's birthday, Elaine started smiling! She would smile every time I lifted her in the air and sang a "wiggle" song to her, and I was even able to call Rob over and show him! So happy he got to be there for that first too!

Then last night, the 10th, the moment I have been waiting for ever since I found out I was pregnant almost 3 years ago finally happened! Jensen said "I love you mama"!!! I was so shocked my jaw dropped and I was like "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" and then I grabbed him and kissed him and was like screaming and he thought it was hysterical lol. Naturally I couldn't get him to say it again but just hearing it even once was awesome!!

Now for the bad news. We finally got ahold of the specialist and Blake's appointment is this Thursday so we'll see. I really wish Rob could go with me but things are slow at work and they've been giving his crew each one day to get off work 2 hours early so I don't want him taking even more time off on top of that while we try to recover from the holidays, the twins NICU stay (we were filling up every 2 days going back and forth), and then Jensen's birthday is this weekend too. I am going to drop Jensen off with Rob's mom on Thursday and then take the twins by myself. I am nervous but hopeful too since he's finally been using the leg. Like Elaine would "stand" and push up on her legs straight home from the NICU but Blake wouldn't put any weight on it. Now he can "stand" for a second or so, but he's not able to push himself up. Still seeing an improvement makes me hopeful!

Cassie, Christine- I'm sorry for confusing you guys... We still don't know the sex... It's just that in spanish we don't have a neutral word like "the" baby. It's either male (el bebe) or female (la bebe). And I just need to call her/him something!!! So based on the last u/s probabilities and my own gut feelings, I went for female, and she's been "Juli", "la bebe" and "your little sister" all this weeks!!

But, I have another u/s by the end of the month, and I'm determined to find out!! If it is a boy after all, I'll just have to apologize to him!!!!!

Christine- I know, it's so hard right?! I work partially from home but get nothing done until the girls go to sleep. So I work, get home, juggle both babies for about 5 hours (while cooking dinner of course), put them to bed and work an hour or two. Suddenly it's 11pm and I haven't stopped to breathe! DH works late or from home late too during his busy season. If you can swing getting an in-home nanny, I highly recommend it. I would never manage also having to get them to DC in the morning. Geeeeeesh!

Amy- yay for smiles!! That's so awesome. Glad you got an appt for Blake set up. Sounds like a good sign that he was "standing".

Mari- that is so cute about fede feeling his "sisters" kicks! Isn't it nice to be told your worries aren't so worrisome after all? ;)

AFM- food poisoning is not fun. That's about all I have to say about that. (I've had quite the bout of it the last couple days- blechk!!)

Name/SO Name or PS: Bridget & Beau

How is the weather in your neck of the woods? Is that normal for this time of year? The weather has been great considering that it is the winter!

Little one(s) name and ages: Natalie, 2 months

What is something your LO(s) do that totally remind you of you? She is really alert & inquisitive - she gets bored easily

What new fall show are you still watching/did you love? If no favorites what was the last movie you saw and liked? Revenge...not a super great show, but I am hooked.

Had Blake's appointment with the specialist today. It seems both his hips are loose, but it was NOT caused by the Dr, it was most likely 2 things. A) he was breech and B) he was a twin which compromised his growing room. He has an ultrasound next week to check on his hips but the Dr is hopeful now that he is out of the womb and at 40 weeks gestational age that his hips will just continue to grow and correct themselves now that he has some room!

Andi - Hope you're feeling better today!

Amy - That's WONDERFUL news about Blake!'

Afm - It's FINALLY winter here! It was below freezing and snowed pretty much all day. My commute home sucked because people were spinning out all over the place. Drives me nuts that people forget how to drive in snow. Come on!
