Brita, you are so right about people and their comments about size... most people have no clue. I was constantly getting comments about how SMALL Teddy was, but his height in 95%... now everyone tells me how huge he is... and he's still 95% for height. Make up your mind people.

Erica: If it's any consolation Teddy only gained 1.5 lbs. in 3 months (between 6 months and 9 months)... it's typical for baby's to have a plateau for a bit. One of the little girls in my PG was only 12 lbs. at 6 months as well. They sent her to a dietitian, etc and it just turns out that she's petite and very active.

Christine - It really is. Nothing went on down there, they pull out the placenta's by hand so with a c-section there is really nothing to recover from. With Jensen I tore so bad and was so swollen the Dr couldn't even examine me until 8 weeks pp.

I honestly haven't been in the mood at all but I felt bad neglecting the hubby so about once a week I give in lol. I wish I had the drive but I keep sporadically bleeding and it's such a mood killer.

Erica - Aww, thanks! GL with the LLL group - I hope you get a great response!

Sandy - Sorry about the DC woes. I can't believe your sitter's latest drama! Glad you're getting out of there and hope she doesn't make the last two weeks miserable for you.

Mari - I LOL'd at the "bunnies" comment too! You go mama. ;-)

Amy - DTD already? Good for you! DH and I didn't do anything for at least the first three months! But I'm sure healing "down there" from a c/s is easier than from a vaginal birth, right?

Brita - Great to hear from you! I'd love to see Novalie's fuzz! ;-)

AFM - Quick rant here: we got dumped on today and it took me 2.5 hours to get home! I was actually at a school closer to me because I had to go for training today so in theory, it should have taken me LESS time to get home. Thank god my DH left work early and was able to pickup Selin from the sitter as I didn't get home until after 6pm. :-/

Erica- I went to pick David up from daycare and she informed me she's now closing after yesterday she said she was going to remain open.

I just wanted to agree on the whole size issue that people LOVE to comment on baby's sizes. I used to get comments on how big Novalie was (she was right around 50% for weight and a little under for height) and other people would comment on how SMALL she was! umm... nope she's pretty average.

People just want to find something to talk about. Now she has this crazy, fuzzy hair that won't lie flat, so every comment is about her hair. Speaking of which, I should probably get a new siggy so you all can see her fuzz!

Oh my gosh, Sandy. That is totally bizarre! Wow...that's a 100% bold-faced lie. Does she really think she can get away with something like that? I would think that those parents could pretty easily figure out that the day care wasn't closed. Yuck. Not just unprofessional, that's unethical. Just wow...

Mari- You can send some of that heat up our way. Granted we've had a mild winter so far but today we are supposed to get freezing rain and snow. YUCK!

Jessica- Hope your mom watches her for a night. I honestly can say I have never been away from David overnight since he was born. I have a church retreat next weekend and that will be the first. We're hoping in June my husband has a thing for work downtown and we're thinking of staying in a hotel overnight and having a sitter watch him. But a good part of the reason is because none of our family is in town. My MIL was supposed to do that last summer and then my FIL had surgery and she left back for Florida sooner than we thought. She may be coming back up north this summer to take care of my DH's grandparents again so maybe we can squeeze it in this summer before she goes back to Ohio after she flies up. The only way my family would watch him is if we would travel to Ohio to drop him off. My dad can't take care of a toddler he never even changed our diapers (ever) so probably not until he's older. And my mom is on oxygen so she'd need my aunt's help to chase David around.

Anyway...I know you're probably all tired about hearing of the daycare issue but I have to tell you all this because it's pretty interesting

I get a text from my current provider yesterday at 3:00pm
