Tell us something each kid is up to: Teddy loves walk/running as fast as he can- especially if we are in a busy place;)

What are you looking forward to this summer? All the great fresh berries and fruits which are in season and from the area. We go to local markets 1-2 times a week and Teddy is loving the awesome strawberries and blueberries which are in season now. I'm also managing to cook some really yummy food with it all as well. There are also some trips I am looking forward to.

Kiddos Maxim 14months

Fur Pets Figaro, our sassy fat cat

General Location NorthernOntario

Tell us something each kid is up to. He's constantly moving in every which direction and he learned to stand without support last week; if he's not walking by the end of this month I'll eat my hat. Today he was playing with a tampon that fell out of my purse (unused, clean, still wrapped) near the cat...and Fig stole it from him and started playing with it and Maxim started laughing at him....so funny! Also, just in time for Independence Day, he got his American citizenship papers yesterday!!

What are you looking forward to this summer? Long weekends at the cottage

That is perfect Erica, I added you.

Quick funny story- Teddy just recently had it click with waving hello and goodbye and now he does it to absolutely everyone. It is so cute. We were at the grocery store this morning and a cashier was saying good bye "Tschüss" to a fellow co-worker and then Teddy all the sudden started waving with a big smile. Everyone loved it and it made me happy to see that he is understanding both German and English words even if he isn't saying anything yet besides mama and dada.

It's DH and my 6th anniversary on Friday and "we'll" be downhill mountainbiking in a town in the middle of Germany. Hahaha exactly what I always wanted to do. Actually we completely forgot about it and this has been planned with friends for awhile. We go a few times a year and I hang out with Teddy while Thomas and his friends go mountain biking. They have a Fairytale Forest park that is super cheesy and awesome and lots of gorgeous old castles in the area so it is still fun for me as well. We might be going someplace warm for a week right before Christmas and that would fall on our wedding anniversary so I don't mind at all. Plus I know some people don't even celebrate their dating anniversary so dinner tonight is fine;)

Does anyone know when the next big sale season is in the US? Is it back to school time? Or some holiday?

Back to school and Summer clearance is probably the next big sale in the US --there are some 4th of July sales going on right now as well--I just bought a bunch of summer clothes for Anna for next year at the Children's Place.

Name: Mariana

DH/SO/PS: Matias

Kiddos: Jose Federico (Fede), 18 months

Fur Pets: Paco (yellow lab, 3yo), and Judith (black cat, 2yo)

General Location: Argentina

Tell us something each kid is up to: Fede is really learning to trow tantrums! On a positive note, although he doesn't really talk yet, you can tell he understands what he is told. He is also fascinated by all kinds of balls, and even running with them soccer style!

What are you looking forward to this summer? n/a
