Hey girls!!I'm back now, as a mom of two!! I can hardly believe it!We are still adjusting as a family, DH is on vacation, so he's been helping me a lot. Specially with Fede who is acting up... A LOT!Surprisingly, he is super loving with Julia, trying to kiss her and acting like she was some kind of super cute kitten. But as soon as I pick her up, or start breastfeeding, he starts a tantrum for the smallest thing, or decides he needs me to play with him or something.I totally understand him though... If I am having trouble adjusting, I can only imagine the emotional turmoil the poor guy is going through! I just hope things start settling into a new normal soon.DH and I are doing really good considering things, he's been really patient and helping, and I'm so grateful!! We've also learned the lesson and this time we are really trying to talk about grown up stuff instead of just baby talk, and set aside some "couple" time every day (even if it's only the morning coffee).I need to ask you guys a couple of questions...So far Julia is nursing like a champ and sleeping all day. I REALLY want to avoid colics this time (as much as possible at least). One of the hospital nurses advised me to avoid onions, garlic and strong spices in general... another one said the key was to avoid dairy... What do you think?? The other question, probably for BTDT is... how do you handle having a family member sick while you have a newborn in the house??? This past week has been really hard dealing with Fede's cold... And since he is going to day care and spends time with almost 15 other toddlers, I suppose this is just the first of many minor illnesses he will bring back home in the following months... How do I stop him from getting the baby sick too??TIA!!!
Ella- I plan to use both since some are here I like to keep up with and FB is easier from my phone ;-)
Sandy- Zaydren is in 2T and 18-24 month shorts.
I only use Facebook for people I know in person and for my volnteer work for Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Andi -- I don't think you need to worry about the two-baby signing problem.
