Jessica- Sorry you are leaving. We'll all miss you.
Anyway I wanted to update you with a cute little post and then I have to get back to work. David has a book that has all kind of words in it. Well when he got to baby he asked for a baby sister. I was shocked he even knew how to say that. I'm wondering it's because him and the girl at daycare have become such good friends. He kept asking me all weekend if we were going over there and then she was telling me her daughter was asking about David. I guess he wants a little sister to play with. Of course he doesn't understand proabably he won't be able to play with her until she gets older but by the time we have another he'll probably understand. She also has a little boy who is 6 months old and she's told me he's done really well with him. I hope he's not upset if he gets a brother instead of a sister since I obviously have no choice in the matter.

katie - no TTC date. we don't even have a wedding date yet. :( waiting till i have a job to set the date for the wedding, and after that happens and we find a place to live after our lease is done on this place (and we signed a 2-year lease, so not till end of august 2013), then we'll re-evaluate our situation and figure out what's a good time frame. probably 2 years from now at a minimum, might be more like 3. i really don't want to wait too long because the age gap between tad and theoretical kiddo #2 is just getting bigger and bigger, and neither of us is getting any younger. not that either of us is old by any stretch of the imagination, but...i dunno, i still want to have some spring left in my step when the kids are grown and out of the house, KWIM? and FI is ahead of me by a couple years.kate - speaking of age differences, lol. how well to ray and teddy get along usually? FI is 7.5 years older than his younger brother and claims he doesn't remember a whole lot of the particulars of when his brother was young. i smile looking at your siggy because looking through a lot of FI's mom's photo albums, there are a lot of pictures like that of FI and his brother. i've always been afraid of having kids with a large age gap because my sister and i (18m apart) are very close, but i have crappy memories of being used as free babysitting for my brothers (my dad's kids with his second wife...i was 11 when the first was born and almost 14 when the second was born) among other things. i recognize that this is poor parenting on my dad's part, not a direct result of the large age gap, but good stories from parents of kids with larger age gaps are always welcome!
Grace- Hope you feel better.
aw, thanks christine.
