Hey ladies, I couldn't find a video/photo thread for May, so I thought I'd start one. Even though we're already HALF WAY through the month (seriously, how did that happen SO FAST???!!!), better late than never!
Now let's see those beautiful WTTG babies!

My baby girl turned six months old yesterday! She's doing great, she weighs 20 pounds and is 27" long, so she's definitely a big girl! She is so happy, and we are still so so so much in love - every passing day is more fun than the last with her! Since she hit the big 6-month mark, we started offering her solid foods this morning with a piece of banana and it was SO fun. She loved it! We're trying out baby-led weaning - we're not pureeing any foods for her and we're letting her self-feed - so I don't think she actually *ingested* a whole lot of it, but that's okay for right now, and she sure had fun with it. I think she really liked the taste - she kept putting it back in her mouth, so she must not have hated it! Here are some pics:

The banana eventually got really slippery and she had trouble holding onto it... so DH helped out:

Ella - I check your blog periodically and I loved the pics of Eliza sitting in your kitchen sink - too cute! She is so photogenic!

Christine - thanks for posting the videos, I love videos :) Selin is already so smiley! I love that stage when they first smile, it is so precious! What an adorable girl - I love her complexion, too. Poor Eliza is destined to be paler than pale, just like her mama.
Ella--Eliza is so adorable! I keep thinking about how a year from now, my baby will be her age, and it seems so surreal!
