We have one of these and LOVE it.

We use the risers that go with it. We borrowed it from a friend, so I am not sure if all the risers came with it or she bought them separate. Our bed is really high so we have 4 risers on each leg. It came with wheels as well (mind you this one is 7 years old), and we don't use those. It is on carpeting, not sure that makes a difference. No issues with the risers at all.

We have 1 sheet for it. But I do keep a water proof pad under Theodore, but on top of the sheet.

Thanks Kate! That was exactly what I needed to know. I think we'll need 3-4 risers on each leg (it only comes with 1 or 2 per leg), and we'll have the co-sleeper on carpet too.

We have a full size and use the risers, I think I have 4 on each leg. I've never had a problem with them. It feels slightly unsteady, but I've used it for the last 2 years with no problems at all.

I don't have the mini, so I'm not sure about the sheets, but I use pack-n-play sheets on my full size, maybe you could use the mini pack-n-play sheets?
