I can't believe it's May already!!! Jensen will be 4 months old on Mothers Day. I can't believe This time last year I was just starting to come to terms that I was indeed pregnant. So Rob is going to apply for an apprenticeship and has decided that if he gets it we can start TTC in 2011 instead of 2012!!! I am SO excited! It will still be the month of August, as we would love to get a May baby and also I want to be pregnant all winter, not be big and pregnant in the summer again.
Kelly I just want to say that I think you have every right to feel exactly how you are feeling! Dealing with Teddy's colic has been difficult and one thing which has really helped is having Thomas tell me how proud he is of me, how he is amazed by my patience, and that he doesn't think he could do even half as good a job.
I can't imagine how much harder this motherhood stuff with be without that recognition.
I hope you are able to get your hubby to understand where you are coming from or that someone else, a counselor maybe?, can.
<<...If things keep going the way they are going, we'll be filing for divorce by Elena's second birthday. >> Kelly, I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I think the girls gave you great advice. And I also think that you need to talk. Even if it means fighting at first, but you can't keep bottling up all those feelings it's not doing either of you any good. By the way, you may be right about his sleep issues. My DH for instance looses all his capabilities of rational speech when he is tired, and you can't get more than a "yes" or "no" out of him.
What a cutie!!! I love those baby smiles with the tongue hanging out, Jensen does that all the time now lol. The last picture is hilarious lol! It's like he's going "really mom, again with the pictures? If you must" lol!
Kelly, I hope you and DH can work out your issues. I hope things improve.
Elyse, William is so cute! I love all the pictures and I love his expression in the second picture. Just a quick fyi, that you probably already know, but the clip looks too low in the car seat, it is suppose to be at armpit level.
So can I admit I am about ready come July or August to throw caution to the wind and try to TTC. Well maybe not active TTC, but not preventing either. I am in major baby want right now since both of mine are so grown up! I know logically that 3 and 1 aren't grown up, but they aren't baby either. I am really tempted to just tell DH that it is up to him if he doesn't want a baby right now, and otherwise to let what happens happen. The big but is, it would really be better to wait till next year. We can probably afford a new car in 2011 and with 3 we would really need a minivan. Plus I think the 3 year spacing might be nice. I want a new baby though! So I'll have to wait and see what I really decide. I am not going to do anything either way till at least July or August though, because I am in a wedding in August and I don't want to not fit in my dress. Plus I don't want to steal my sister's thunder from being pregnant with her first.
In other news Desmond only peed in his diaper twice on both Saturday and Sunday, he went in the potty the rest of the time and told us when he had to go! Eloise also peed in the potty a couple of times, but isn't quite as good about telling us she needs to go.
Amy- Wow planning for the next one already. I guess I am not even thinking about it. However I know we are waiting at least 2 years to even start trying, maybe even longer. I would like David to be potty trained by the time we have #2. And as fussy and challenging as he is I am wondering if DH will want to pospone it even longer. Right now he keeps saying he's wondering if we should have another. I think he'll change his mind in a few years or at least I hope so. I really don't want David to be an only child.
Ash- David had colic so I know exactly what you are going through. He's been overly fussy lately as well I am wondering if it is teething. Not sure... But we've had sleeping issues lately. He was always such a good sleeper and now it's like I have a newborn again. I know it will get better eventually but it's frustrating after I was getting used to having more sleep again.
Not much other than David will be 5 months on Wed and we'll be starting him on baby food this weekend. He's been on cereal 2 weeks now and loves it.

Thanks for doing this Adrienne! I had to change my ticker though for some reason it was a few days behind- so can you update it with this one?
Thanks!
