Hi there ladies! Since I’m so very behind I’m just going to pop in with a few comments on older posts, if I think I can still be helpful / relevant. Then I’ll try to keep up! J

Cheryl, WW online has the tools to keep track of your points, activites and weight. If you have a smart phone you can use it on there as well. It has all kinds of food ideas and articles.

When I signed up they had 3 different offers. I think I paid $54 for 3 months then its $30 a month after the first 3. I used it while going through the mgt program for my job. I managed to lose 10lbs while living in a hotel and eating out most of the time.

If you have not used it: I have so many points a day to use then I have what I call flex points that I can use throughout the week. You

Ella- How was your night out? I hope you had a fantastic time!

Anna- WTG on losing 30 lbs! That is awesome. Maybe that is why I am hungry all the time, because I am BFing. I never thought about that. I can't believe how big and independent Teddy is getting. I hope the ped apt goes well next week.

Grace- I am glad that you are feeling better now that you have been taking the meds. That is so cute about James kissing your tummy. Happy 1st Birthday to James!

Mari- I can't wait til Luke hits the stage that Fede is in, and starts interacting more. I am sorry that he is waking up so much in the middle of the night.

Ruby- I am so envious of your weight loss. That stinks about Maxim's diaper rash. I switched over to Huggies just to be on the safe side. I am glad that you stuck to your guns about BFing and it is going well now.

Cassie- How is the WW online? Is it any good? How much is it to join? I've thought about doing that. What a healthy little guy Simon is.

Sarah- Yay for Desmond going pee on the potty. Hopefully he is fully potty trained soon.

AFM- Luke had his 2 month check up today. He is now 10 lbs 6 oz and 21.5 inches long. The doctor said he is doing great. He had his first set of vaccines and doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all.

Tomorrow we are planning on going to an outlet mall. It is about 1.5 hours away. I am a little worried how Luke will be, because that is the furthest we have been away from home so far. Hopefully he is good.

I am still having quite a bit of discharge( It reminds me of the CM right before you O), enough to wear a pantyliner and change it a few times during the day. Is this normal?

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Not really going to do personals right now sorry.

Ella, Adrienne's idea of the sippy cup isn't actually a bad one. Eloise started with straw cups around 6 months, and I think she used them a few times before that because she grabbed Desmond's water. We never ended up using bottles at all with her. She was much happier with a strawcup or sippy.

As for us. I think, *knock on wood* that Desmond is pee trained! He will not go to the potty on his own, but as long as I take him every 2 hours he will pee on the potty and not have any accidents. He also doesn't like wearing diapers at all anymore. He even wore undies to bed last night and woke dry and didn't go until I put him on the potty. We may actually be approaching that point where he is trained, at least pee trained. He won't poop on the potty though. I really hope he decides to start soon. I won't mind him telling me he has to go potty and going on his own as well, but the pooping on the potty is what I am really hoping for!

Desmond will be taking his first airplane ride without me or DH tomorrow. He and my Mom are flying down to Georgia tomorrow morning and going to my parents lake house. Eloise and I will be following on Sunday. He has spent the night away from the house once, the night before my mother in law had her heart attack he spent the night over there, but it is only a 45 minute drive to get there max. This time he will be spending the night with my Mom 700+ miles away in Georgia! It is kind of scary and makes him seem so grown up! I am hoping everything goes well.

Eloise is doing great. Not much new with her, she loved picking strawberries with us on Sunday. She thought it was a ton of fun. She is a big helper too, she likes to help me put toys back away in their boxes, unlike her brother who only likes dumping them out! She does the cutest thing now, if you ask her if she is sleeping she will start fake snoring!

Wow Cheryl I am totally impressed with your working out. I am SOOO lazy I never do anything. Siiigh. I know I at least should be walking more, that it is important for my health, the baby, yadda, and I actually ENJOY it but for some reason I never do it. Siigh.

Ella--Have you ever tried her with a sippy? (Maybe other people will suggest this, I'm not very far along). I know now it is already the day you are going out--but maybe she would take a sippy more easily than the bottle?

Anyway, I hope you have a great time tonight!!

"Ah! OMG Adrienne, I can't believe you're 15 weeks! Yahoo! Do you have your anatomy scan scheduled yet?"

LOL! Nope, not yet--my next midwife appt is at 17 weeks, and she said that she would schedule me one after that, and that she should be able to get me in pretty quick--so I'm hoping for 18 weeks or so!! :-D

Cheryl, way to go on the working out. I have done so so. I did really good the week before vacation then gained while on vacation cause I was lazy with what I ate. hopfully I can get back on top of things now that we are home again and shouldn't be going anywhere. I got a gym pass and I am doing weight watchers online again.

Anna, I read your other post. Sorry about the back and forth. Glad you and DH were able to talk things through some. Good luck with the house.

Grace, I can't beleive the Jan 11 EC is up and your part of it. Makes me a touch jelouse. I know Simon is only 4 months old but I'm ready (well mentally not so much physically) to be prego agian. Glad things are going well other then the MS.

Christine, sorry you are having so many issues with the kitties. I hope you will be able to handle one better then two. How is the job hunt closer to home going? I wanted to tell you I feel you on wanting to stay home. I never though I would want to but now I think I would like to atleast mostly and work part time. To bad its just not an option. We live pretty frugally now, though we could do more. The biggest thing is I carry the insurance and thats pretty important when you have a baby.

Kelly, I hope Elena gets through this little phase of her's soon. Simon seems to still be on central time with waking up. He has been sleeping till 7 or later and has woken up before 6 the last two days.

Mari, I hope that your project is going well. No advice for the co-sleeping because we don't do it. Simon has slept in his own bed by his choice since he was 2 weeks old.

Ruby, way to go with the BF! I "m glad its working out better for you. I am soo jelouse of the weight loss! That is great.

AFM, Simon was 13lbs 10.2oz at his 4 month apt. and 25 inches long. Healthy little man over all. We had changed him to the sensative formula and our Ped said to try and switch him back to the regular after a while cause the sensative is mostly made with corn sugars (fructose) instead of milk sugars (lactose) which bothers him. So I guess we will finish what we have and try the other again.

We just got back from our trip to Arkansas to see family. Simon flew really well. Biggest issue we had was the TSA guy being a jerk about how much formula we had. They want you to only take what you will need for your flights. Well unforchunatly every time we have flown we miss our connection and end up sitting there twice as long as we were suppose to . Which happened both coming and going so its a good thing I took extra. Simon got to meet two of his little cousins who are just over a year old. We are now making lots of new noises that i think we picked up from cousin Allison.

I don't go back to work till Sunday though I am dreading it already. Originally going back wasn't to hard but its getting harder. I have applied for a few other positions and heard nothing back. So, for now, I am stuck. DH has an interview for a job that would count towards his internship hours tomorrow. Hopfully he gets it. If he does we will be back to trying to figure out child care for Simon.

Hello everybody,

Maxim is over 2 weeks old now, its crazy how time does fly. We are doing good over here. BFing has been a real challenge...we had some issues with the public health nurse, however good intentioned, creating a sense of panic about his weight and jaundice. They said to supplement him after feeds with BM bottles, she questioned my supply, maybe had thrush (just baaad diaper rash from those Dry Max dipes). So we did some supplementing (they even gave us formula which he only got 4 oz of and I said no way...that isnt the answer either). Well last Friday, I was losing my mind because his latch was getting WORSE, not better. So after she left, I said enough is enough.. No more bottles, they are only making it worse. He's getting the boob whether he likes it or not, haha! So every single feed, I battled with him to latch properly. He was finally getting it and since Sunday has been 1000% better. It's been a ton of work and he's still lazy at the latch but doesnt take as long to get on and eats like crazy once he's on properly. She came today to weigh him and he gained 11oz since last Friday!! She was shocked at his gain and gave me tons of credit for not giving up. I was seriously at my wits end....thank god for my DH. Not only did he tell me to just take it one day at a time, he reminded me that my hormones are a bit wacky and not to quit on my worst day. He's too good honestly.

Other than the slow start to BFing, he's a wonderful baby. He isnt fussy, just eats, sleeps and poos away. He's easy to please though he's not loving this godawful heat we have going on. Trying to keep him as cool as possible.

DH has been so wonderful, even better than expected. I am so so lucky. My DH is so hopelessly in love with his son, its awesome to watch them together.

AFM, I've lost 30 lbs!! Not only the 16lbs of baby weight but another 15 lbs on top of that! I'm so excited, haha! My mom got me a pair of new jeans 2 Christmases ago and they didnt fit all that great but now they do!! I never wear jeans, I cant stand them! Woo hoo!! I have some toning and exercising to do though and now I'm even more motivated to keep losing. I'll be a hotter mama than before getting knocked up, ha! I think I'm pretty well healed too but still stiff at times. My PP checkup isnt until July 13th so I'll be 8 weeks PP at that point.
