I remembered in thinking about my ridiculous non-baby related rant that we used to have a spot for things like that!

How about a Mommy check in?

Tell us a work story (SAHM's, get creative!) I am so glad I work at home as after hearing from co workers all the drama that goes on in the office. I do miss the interaction sometimes but that is it.

What's your current occupation? SAHM

Tell us a work story (SAHM's, get creative!) I've been budgeting like crazy lately, I looked into our finances and realized we've been running a huge deficit, so now we're cutting back like crazy. It's challenging, but honestly I kind of enjoy a non-child-related challenge right now...

Business Solutions Architect - Fancy title for saying I write documentation, do analysis for how a change request from our partners will effect the companies systems and have a lot of meetings and conference calls ;P

Most of my stories are boring....I was on a conference call one time (it was an improtu meeting) and of course I was told to call in while I was downstairs in the mother's room and I was pumping. So I was on speaker phone, and I forgot to put the mute on. I did have the zipper compartment closed as much as possible and someone gets on the phone and is like "Is that someones' dog barking" I went on mute. I im'd her and told her I was pumping.

What's your current occupation? Large Retail Chain Ast Mgr (also known as my personal h e double hockey sticks.)

Tell us a work story (SAHM's, get creative!) When I need a break or just want to hide I go up to the bakery and hang out with the cake decorators. For mothers day we had these cupcake sets that we made into a flower. They were really pretty. Every single one I made sold. I could hardly make them fast enough to keep up with the demand. Oh how I wish I could so that.
