I remembered in thinking about my ridiculous non-baby related rant that we used to have a spot for things like that!

How about a Mommy check in?

Name (DH/SO Name):

What's your current occupation?

Tell us a work story (SAHM's, get creative!)

How are things with DH/SO?

Thanks ladies. I know why he is dragging his feet. Its a small community and you know how the economy has effected all the taxes and such with cut backs. Along with the fact that my parents work for the county so he needs to make sure everything looks right and this wasn't just a gave it to me situation.

He asked if I was doing this just to get back into town. Funny thing I never planed to move back to my home town until this job popped up. lol

Ya know its pretty sad I have to move 1200 miles to get a job. This place has around 100,000 total with the valley and I have moving back to a town that has around 7000. And you have to drive an hour to get to a Walmart? ??
What is wrong with this picture? LoL

Cassie - that is strange... and it is a shame that you have to move so far away to get a different job.

Cassie I'm so happy for you!!!!! I know it will be hard for you and DH, and the moving is also a pain, but I think you guys reached a point where you just need this for your own sanity!!!! Also, don't feel bad about leaving the previous job. You've enslaved yourself there, with no help at all from them, first, when you were pregnant doing all those long hours on your feet, and after Simon came, doing those insane long hours and crazy shifts. If they had even a tiny bit of respect for mothers and families they would have done something to help you.

Congrats Cassie! And it is weird that you can find a job in a town of 7000, but not 100,000.

Thank you for the sig Mary

Hey ladies - This is Jessica (under my new screen name).

Cassie - I am so so so so happy for you and this job!! That's awesome. I know it will be difficult to be away from DH, but I can't imagine how much less stress you are going to have from leaving your job. and I agree with the others you can't worry about your team, you need to worry about yourself.

Ruby - thinking of you. KUP on how things are going.

AFM - DH and I got in a pretty big fight the other night about my "eating" and the food choices I make. He said he was concerned about me being overweight and when I had diabetes during my pregnancy. I told him that apparently me losing almost 46lbs from when I was pregnant with her (which was 30lbs lower than my pre-pregnancy weight) wasn't enough for him. while I am not what I was when we got married almost 7 years ago (which was my lowest since college) I am lower than I have been forever. I think we worked it out, but it was just annoying that he was telling me how I should be eating. Men! Sheesh.

Saying hello to everyone else!
