So is your most recent WTT baby your last or are you once again WTT?

If you are planning another, when will you start TTCing again?

How long did it take you to TTC this baby?

If you are planning another, how long are you thinking it will take to TTC the next time?

If this baby is your last, how do you feel about that? Are you completely done or you just aren't sure? Do you and DH have different thoughts about an ideal family size?

Oh gosh I know exactly how you feel! I kept asking myself why in the world we did this and I really felt doomed to spend the next 18 years miserable. I also got terribly anxious at night- that is when the feelings were the worst and I often just broke down sobbing.

Thankfully that hormonal stuff really did end right around 2/3 weeks but that didn't make Teddy any easier in terms of crying all the time, sleep, etc. That definitely took a few more weeks and honestly I didn't "love every moment" or anything like that. I just tried to take it one day at a time and I watched lots of movies and TV while breastfeeding as that helped to take my mind off things. I also made sure to shower and get out of the house with Teddy so that I felt more normal.

Then slowly day by days things started to get better. But I really was counting down the days for quite a bit as a lot of things I had read had said the first 12 weeks are the hardest, and so far I completely agree.

Everything is SO SO much better now!!! I really like being a mom now and am looking forward to doing it all again in a year or two:)

Hang in there! You will get through it:)

Jen,

I completely agree with Ash. Even though Selin has been a pretty easy baby overall, I had my moments in the very beginning where I was questioning if I wanted more kids (and I've always wanted a big family). The first two nights she was home she wouldn't sleep more than 20-30 min. in her crib
