So, we started potty training David and he's doing quite well. I took him to the sitter yesterday and she does not want to deal with training him. I don't know what to do. I would think she would be willing to train him. she said that he is too young. I know there are a lot of people that don't believe in early potty training but david is showing the signs and he knows when he is wet. She also said he cannot communicate the word potty. I told her that he grabs his pants and he runs to the door if he has to go. She also said she doesn't think that he is saying enough words. My husband and I talked about it last night and I think he can communicate just fine. I think maybe she is trying to push him too much. I really like her and I don't want to have to look for another sitter but I am not sure what to do.
Anyone have any suggestions? I just don't want to confuse him while potty training there him wearing diapers and here wearing underwear.
I think I may tell her again and say I dont' want to confuse him and his potty training as he's doing really well at home. Maybe I should have him wear pull ups there or something. I would think she would be willing to work with him.
