New SIDS Guidelines

I've heard of those.. And I think its silly they put the vaccines one on there when it really isn't SIDS related, but a plug for that. Although a sick baby is more inclined to be at risk. However with all that said SIDS deaths are down but the other bed issues are up. When in the past most were lumped together so my guess it really isn't down just more defined. And the part about the tummy time so no flat head isn't a SIDS thing either. Silly list.

I also was surprised about the pacifier but david never took one. However now i am glad as i have several friends that are having issues getting rid of it. I did let david sleep in a car seat in the beginning but it was the only place he would sleep. he wanted to be elevated. We also used a bouncy seat. Nxt time we are getting a swing. David always slept in a crib or bed never in our bed even when i was breastfeeding. I always was afraid something would happen. He is only allowed in our bed now after we get up on weekends. I do not want to make a habit.
