Hi Ladies! I'm just stopiing in to get something off my chest. I know this is probably more for the WTT board but ...

I am having the baby wants really bad. Had I stayed in Montana at my old job we would probably be TCC right now if not already expecting. I know of 4 people who had had babies in the last two weeks and two more this month and a couple in Jan. A good friend told me today that she is expecting and due on my birthday. When I said sometihng to DH about it he said we could try while he was here at Thanksgiving. My boss was even giving me a bad time about getting prego and how he was excited (mostly so he can pick on me.) That would put us due in Aug. I'm not sure I want to go through pregnancy without DH. Chasing a toddler and morning sickness? I was thinking maybe March when he comes for Spring break but that would give us a December baby and I'm not really wanting that. Sticking with the, once he gets done and gets a job, is the best bet. Its just hard today for some reason.

(((HUGS))) Cassie! If I were in your shoes, I would probably go for TTC over spring break. You might go late and have another Jan baby!

Btw, since you're the only person who does your job (right?) how would a maternity leave work? Just curious. :-)

Christine, the down side to this job is that I'll only get the 6-8 weeks and I'm guessing that its only paid if I have the PTO available to use. If I were to have a summer baby it would probably be the SRO (School Resource Officer) filling in and then the kennel attendant. Any other time of the year the P. Officers would just have to help fill in with the kennel cleaning. Or they might hire a temp person I don't know.

I would like to have my kids in different months if possible. I'm sure we won't start any sooner then when DH gets here and gets a job. Cause if I don't get paid leave we will need that second income. That and living with my cousin and being prego just doesn't sound like fun. I'm have a down night tonight... beyond the baby wanting.

Thanks for checking on me. I miss having my smart phone and our e-mails. :)

Hugs Cassie! I'm sure it all is wearing on you. You were so used to living as a family in your place so to go from that to apart and with someone else and baby fever on top sure doesn't help. Hope his trip there later this month helps you get through to spring break!

Emmy- Good luck with the BIL issue.. I'm sure that is tough spot but exciting to think J will most likely be a big sister in the near future!

AFM: Zaydren had his 4 month appt today. No one could believe that he was only 4 months old and were surprised how big he is and all he does. He is 19lbs 7oz and 26" (though he wasn't as stretched as I know he can be but I'll take it lol). He was off the charts for weight and 75-90th for height and 90th for head (44cm). She was fine with no food til after 6 months but wants me to stretch his feedings to every 3 at least during the day, but as usual I won't follow her advice. I'm such a bad patient/parent! LOL

Cassie- I'm sorry you're having a down night. That really stinks that you have to wait since you're not in the same place as DH. I hope when you do finally get to TTC it is short and sweet!

Katie- not a bad parent! You know what is best for you and Zaydren. I can't get over how much bigger Z is than Max lol. They seem to be doing mostly the same things though.

AFM: We had Max's 4 month appt on 11/1. He is 14 lbs 3/4 oz (30%), 25 inches (50%), and 16 inch head circ (40%). The ped said she recommended waiting until 6 months to start solids (which we were going to wait anyway). But I was glad that we seem to be on the same page. She didn't seem concerned that he is going down in percentiles, as long as he seems to be thriving. So a good appt.

Cassie ((hugs)) I couldn't imagine having to live apart from DH, but in no time he'll be done school and you'll be together again. Hang in there.

Little One's/Ages: Selin Chloe, 20 mos

What are you looking forward to for November: Thanksgiving! It's my FAVORITE holiday. :-D

Milestones/Story about your LO's: Selin just gets cuter by the day. She is obsessed with the alphabet song lately and loves to sing it REAL loud. Of course she doesn't know her letters yet and just babbles the song but it's still cute. She is saying "yeah" and "mmm, hmm" and is picking up new words each week.

Everyone is amazed at how much she can comprehend, even though she's not speaking in sentences. Like I can tell her to pick up the food she threw on the floor and go through it in the garbage and she'll know exactly what to do! And when we come home from the sitter, we always feed our cat so she starts saying "Zorba, Zorba" on our way home because she knows we're going to feed him as soon as we get home. She loves to help with laundry or the dishwasher and other little chores around the house, like someone else said usually slows me down, but she seems to really enjoy it.

We were at the pediatrician last week because she and I came down with a bad cold and she weighed 24lbs 4 oz. I can definitely feel it when I lift her. Oh and over the last week, she started telling me when she poops in her diaper! And she says "pee you" when I'm changing
