Ella: My first periods after having kids have always been a bit lighter and shorter then normal, but never just 2 days.

It is so much fun when they start talking in full sentences. It is just fun to hear everything they are thinking, at 2 they seem to have no brain to mouth filter so they say everything on their mind.

Cassie: Sorry you aren't enjoying living with your cousin. Hopefully the time passes fast and Matt is with you soon. Baby fever is a pain, I remember getting it between Desmond and when we starting TTC with Eloise and between Eloise and Sully. Never fun, especially when you can't really act on it at the moment.

Sandy: Good luck on the potty training. The big thing to remember is unless there is an actual issue no one wears diapers to kindergarten, it will click eventually, even if it isn't right now.

Erica: I hope you figure out Fletcher's school problems. And sorry about the car accident.

Everyone else, hi hope everything is going well.

As for us: We went to my in-laws yesterday and Sully stood with no support half a dozen times for 3 to 5 seconds! I am so not ready for this. He also finally got his 7th tooth in. Now just waiting for the 8th one to pop in so he will hopefully start sleeping better again.

He also has a bit of a cold, so was up at 2am, where DH took him and got him back down, and then up again at 6am, blegh, so I've been up since 6 with him. He has been napping on my back for the last 2 hours now, since he can sleep easier up and down, with the stuffy nose, but dang I would have liked another hour or two of sleep myself.

Desmond is doing good. He did break the foam in one of our car seats this weekend, sigh. It was out, without the cover on since we were washing the cover and he decided to play with it and the foam and snapped it in half. Now I have to see if I can get a new piece. Britax doesn't make the car seat it is for anymore, but I am hoping they still have some spare pieces, since the car seat still has 2 years of life left.

Eloise is doing great, she is so cute. She is going to tea with my mother in law next Sunday, which she will love. She is sleeping in today it seems since it is almost 9 and she is still asleep. Potty training is going well, she is mostly there, with the occasional accident. Hopefully she will get past the whole occasional accident thing soon, so she will be fully potty trained, but I am happy she is out of diapers.

Thank you for the sig Mary

Ella - My PP AFs have been all over the place - cycle length wise and AF length wise. I think as long as you are still nursing nothing is set in stone in regards to AF.

Ella, I had that exact kind of AF on my second cycle pp... 2 weeks later we concieved this baby!

At the moment, and since it was so light, so short, and my cycle was already +60 days, I thought it was some kind of fluke, and put it down on my FFchart as just "spotting" (although it was bright red). But apparently (and amazingly) it was the real thing.

In our case it worked perfectly... But if you are not ready... be careful!!!! :)

Cassie- I totally hear where you are coming from. I don't want to start a debate here but I get ticked off as we are saving money and paying off our debt so we can afford another child and then there are people who cannot afford another child and they continue to have them. That is all I will say about that as I said I don't want to start a debate. I remember being mad when I had several friends who who had kids before us but we were married longer than them so I totally understand what you are saying.

So, we are cleaning the spare bedroom out as David's bedroom set will be here on Friday. We need to put his current set in there for now. As I said we're going to wait until he's a little older maybe once we start TTC to move him. I don't want to feel like we're replacing him out of his old room so I don't reallly want to wait until I'm pregnant unless it's at the beginning before he knows what is going on. We also need to get rid of our extra bed and do a few other things wtih our stuff we had stored in there so my DH needs to redo our closet as I think I said before so when he takes his stuff out of there I will tell him I want to get this stuff done before I get pregnant so David doesn't feel like he's being moved because of the baby.

Ella - You've got me on pins and needles over here. Are you going to POAS?!? :-D And I can't believe Miss Eliza is turning TWO already! I ROFLd at her "attle" comment.

Cassie - I sent you an email a few days ago - did you get it??

I had a question for those of you who have more than one child that share a room.

Sandy,

I've been wondering the same thing because we've only got 2BR. I was going to query my local moms group because most of the houses in our neighborhood are only 2BR unless an addition was done.

For now (and I haven't talked this over with DH yet but I think he'll be agreeable) I'm thinking to keep baby #2 in our room until they're STTN then move them
In with Selin. Of course Selin started STTN at around 8 weeks so I'm praying the next one will be a good sleeper as well!! We'd have to move some furniture out of our BR because we don't even have room for a bassinet or cosleeper.

GL! I'm curious to read everyone's responses.

Christine- Glad I'm not the only one in this situation. However, we have 3 bedrooms and I know they could have their own rooms but DH for some reason wants a guest room even though we get my dad to visit maybe twice a year sometimes 3 times and then my in laws have come once and my mother in law

Sandy - We didn't put the boys together until Jonah was 2 and Fletcher was 5, but now, Jonah has been sleeping our bed quite a bit, and Charlotte never wakes him up. He sleeps right through her waking. We are co-sleeping though, so most of the time, Charlotte doesn't have to make much noise to get my attention.

Ella - I have dreamed of being a violinist since I was a little girl! Cory bought me a violin when we were first married, and I took lessons on and off. When I got pregnant with our second child, I decided to set the violin aside for awhile. I hope to go back to it one day.

AFM: We had a conference with Fletcher's teachers yesterday. It was actually very reassuring. They said that he isn't focusing well and plays around with this belongings instead of listening. (not surprised) But they have no doubts about his intelligence and abilities. We just need to really work on listening skills and some of the high frequency words that he should know more automatically. I'm feeling hopeful that we will get him beyond this transitional phase.
