Liz- sounds like a very fun age! I can't wait for that... Minus the saying "no!" part. Although wagging the finger at you, that's hilarious! I'll be the type of parent who encourages those behaviors because I'll laugh and positively reinforce it. ;)
Christine- congrats on nearing the end of your MA program! Great feeling isn't it?!
Katie- going to the white house, for an event?? Very cool!
Ella- happy birthday to Eliza! That dress is SO cute! And good luck with the NPPing! Sounds like many of you will soon be on round 2, or 3!
Kate- sorry about AF. Could it still just be wacky from postpartum?? I don't know how long it takes to get back to normal after..??
AFM- the girls are making real progress on their tummy time and sitting up. I'm hoping by the time we hit their six month birthday next month they'll be getting closer to rolling and sitting on their own. Their differences in personality are really showing now. We've had a lot of houseguests lately and Jules is so social, all smiles at everyone. Elia has a pretty extended "warm up" period, and I think she's going to be more shy, like my DH. I can see them 3 years from now when I take them anywhere... I'll have one clinging to my leg and the other running around trying to be the center of attention. Should be interesting. ;)

Ella, Happy Birthday Eliza! How on earth is she two years old! Good luck with the NPP. :) I hope that things are easier this time around.

Cassie--I would take a pup, but DH would be super ticked. ;) I've got my eye on a redbone in our shelter. I fell in love a couple weeks ago, but he got adopted on the 5th. He's already listed again. :(

Quick post here as I have to get back to work. However, David's mattress is coming on Friday so I will post a picture then. Plus, he got his new bedding yesterday another bday present from my mom and aunt. He got Thomas the Train bedding. HOpefully he'll start sleeping better he was up at 6am. I'm thinking bc he doesn't have a full mattress yet maybe it's not comfortable. Or it could be unrelated to the bed as he's teething again after getting his 1st 2nd year molar. 3 more to go!!!!

Also we went out couch shopping last night so we had a sitter and David pooped on the potty for the sitter. I think he's pretty much pooped trained but we have to keep him in diapers b/c he can't figure out when he needs to pee. Sometimes he does but when I try to put him in underwear he pees in his pants and would rather have a diaper on. So, I don't think he's ready to be fully potty trained yet. However, I haven't changed a poopy diaper in at least 3 weeks. And I'd rather do that as pee diapers are a lot easier to change. Most friends I know their kids are the other way around so I'm kind of excited that he's letting us know. I even know some boys who won't poop and hold it in and then get consitpated.

Very exciting about the bed, Sandy! My mother-in-law "poop trained" all four of her boys first, and she insists that's the way to go. Jonah is still having some trouble with pooping on the potty, but he has never had an accident at preschool...thank goodness.

Katie: I normally did/do lap child, though that was more because of cost, and my parents buying most of my plane tickets. If I had the money I would likely go for a seat for baby. I did start getting Desmond a seat by 13 months, because he was just so active at that point he really needed it. If you do lap child, then gate check your car seat, don't check it at normal baggage check, since if there is an extra seat on the plane you can normally get it for baby.

When I traveled with just Eloise I use to get a full row of 3 seats often, with just my ticket, because we traveled at off times, the couple of times it was just the two of us, and it was nice to be able to have the space. Just ask at the gate, and the gate agent can tell you if there are free seats, and will sometimes reserve one for baby, if there are so you can have the extra space.

Thank you for the sig Mary

Hi everyone I am trying hard to stay caught up but it is really hard right now. My mom just left on Monday after visiting us for 3 weeks it was such an amazing visit and Teddy loves her so much, it is too bad that they can't see each other more often:( But I should be going to the States for 3-4 weeks in Feb so he will get some more grandma time in.

Teddy is doing SO good but I am also really wondering how in the world I will deal with him and bring pregnant, as we are going to be NPP probably starting this month. Although that doesn't mean much considering I have been off the pill for over 30ish days and still no sign of AF in sight.
