Eliza doesn't drink much cow's milk... I'd say over an entire week she probably drinks maybe 16-20 ounces? If that? I offer with every meal - and by that I mean I put milk in a sippy for her at every meal - and she will have a little bit... but the girl is mainly a mama milk and a water drinker (she LOVES water). I'm not worrying about it since she eats dairy in the form of yogurt and cheese, and really, the fact that she's not drinking a lot of cow's milk doesn't bother me - after all, she's still drinking milk, it's just that it's human milk!! ;)

Oh, and we still give the d drops to Eliza, though I've been REALLY bad about it lately... better get better at it again :) I'm going to ask our ped at her 2 yr appointment about it, too.

Ugh, Mari, I'm so sorry for all that cr@p that you are dealing with right now! Not good :( I hope you and Fede feel better soon and that your sister is able to heal and recover quickly (physically, at least) from the m/c. Wishing them a quick BFP and a healthy baby soon!

Andi - those two are just adorable! Good luck with your first day/week back. So nice that DH will be home with the girls for a couple of days to ease into the transition. Will they be going to DC or do you have someone coming to your home? Sorry if you've already mentioned this -- I've lost track of the thread a bit lately!

Andi - I cannot believe the girls are 4 months old already!! I swear you JUST had them! Yay on good growth!! We need to see more pictures I think! :)

Katie - Ugh I hate when that happens!! Jensen did that to me too at 2 weeks old. Scared me half to death! Glad he is ok and yay for rolling and getting it on video! Oh my gosh that Halloween picture is too cute!! I just put up pictures of Jensen on FB wearing his 12 month T and 12 month jeans, and he is over a year older then Z!! Z is going to be passing him soon! Jensen is actually in 18 month sleepers and onesies though (long torso, short legs) but the 12 month shirts and pants fit him perfect now. He will be 2 in 3 months, I can't believe it!

Christine - Good luck on the feed back!! I know you did great! :)

Jess - I didn't know you were TTC! Where have I been?? Tons of baby dust your way!! GL!!

AFM - As I said above, I can't believe Jensen is about to be 2 in 3 months! I mean I knew his birthday was coming up but it just hit me that he's not turning 1 again, he's turning 2!! I just can't believe I will have a 2 year old, and 3 kids total in January!!

I asked Rob the other night if he liked it when I was pregnant. I certainly didn't expect him to say "Of course, I love it!! I love watching you get ticked off at the slightest things and cry all the time!" but he said "No." a little fast.

Sensing my feelings were hurt he said "I love the end result. I love our kids, I want more kids, but I wish we could just skip the pregnancy part" lol. After this pregnancy, I am starting to agree! I love being pregnant with ONE kid. With twins? Not so much! Especially when I am recovering from a 24 hour stomach bug and the twins decide to have a 12 hour long dance party on my sensitive tummy!

Oh my gosh Andi- they have gotten so big!!! They are adorable:)
For a book on feeding I recommend Child of Mine, feeding with love and good sense by Ellyn Satter. It is written by a nutritionist with over 20 years experience and she really knows what she is talking about- very no nonsense :D I don't follow her to the letter but it is great to know what is normal, what should I expect, etc. plus it takes you from birth through toddlerhood and early childhood.

Sorry I'm late to chime in on this but it looks like you got some good advice from the ladies. I don't really have any advise for her eating problems as I have the opposite problem wtih David. Not sure if it's boys or what but he constantly wants to eat and this has been going on since he started solids. He used to get up at night b/c he was hungry but I told him no more you eat during the day. This morning he got up at 6am b/c he was hungry.

Sandy, the thought of boxers for a toddler is SO cute!!!

Katie, I love the pumpkin picture! Charlotte is going to wear a similar shirt. Seems like Z is doing great. I had to smile at the hand shake!

Okay going to try to do personals since I have a few minutes with the small ones all playing together!

Christine, I've found that they vary how much they nurse once they get past 18 months or so.

Thank you for the sig Mary

Jess & Ash - thank you for the book recommendations for feeding... I went straight to amazon and ordered them both. :)

Christine & Ella - A good friend of ours (who used to be a nanny before she had her own kids) will be watching the girls for us while I'm working, until January, so I'll be taking them to her house. We're hoping we'll have found a nanny by January who can come to our home to make things a little easier. Hopefully by then we'll be ready for a "stranger" to be taking care of them.
