RANT: Sick of being Sick

Just wanted to rant a little - so please feel free to ignore.

So Gabby after ending her last round of antibiotics last Wednesday she was sleeping great! and I thought even though she still had the antiboitics she would be good. Well friday around 2pm we got a call from daycare saying that she was running a 103.5 fever. so off I rushed to pick her up and headed to the doctor. Found out her ears were still bad. they thought it might be strep but it wasn't strep....and they had to take some blood work and see how her white blood cell count was. it was elevated, but still under 15,000 which means it's most likely not viral.

So on another round of antibiotics....Well before we left for vacation a few weeks ago I got a cold (around the same time Gabby was sick) and it went away but this cough didn't. Well the cough got worse and saturday I felt like crap. Off to the minute clinic today to find out that not only do I have a sinus infection but I also have an ear infection - it was just starting to bother me, so at least I caught it early enough...but still. so now both her and I are on amoxicillian...and I am just sick of doctors, antiobiotics and other things.

We are off to the ENT tomorrow to look at Gabby's ears and see about tubes. which as much as I don't want her to have them, at least she wouldn't be pumped up with antibiotics...

DH is starting to feel sick too and I just want a healthy household. Ugg thanks for listening!
