Slept through the night!!

So I'm sure it was a total fluke, but a couple of night ago James slept 7 hours without waking up!! It was so nice, especially since prior to that he was waking up 3 or 4 times a night. It was so weird, when he finally woke I realized I needed to go pump after feeding because i was soo engorged from going so long, but it was still really nice. He hasn't done 7 hours again, but the last couple of nights he's been sleeping 5 hours and then 3 hours, which is still pretty nice for me, only waking up once in the middle of the night. While I realize this may not last, it's nice to know he's capable. Yay for progress!!

Congrats, it is nice when they sleep longer periods.

I am still waiting for Eloise to regress. I know Desmond had a bad sleep regression right around her current age and didn't sleep through the night again till I night weaned him around 14 months. She is still sleeping 12 hours at the moment, I am not sure if it is to lure me into thinking she will continue it, or if she really is planning to continue to sleep through the night. I'm going with the first option though and enjoying my no-child waking me up nights while I still can, though of course I still wake up twice during the night anyways, sigh.

Yea!!! It's really amazing how much difference it makes in Mom's sleep to get 5 (or more) whole hours of sleep uninterrupted! I hope he continues to give you at least that 5 hours!

I can remember waking up at the normal interval only to find that baby was still soundly sleeping. Habit.
