Still here!

Sorry I am not posting a whole lot, I am still reading! Obviously we're adjusting to life at home still so computer time is few and far between!

Some updates on us -

Blake - When we were about to have them released from the NICU they did an ultrasound of his hip and found his leg bone was not fitting into his hip socket. Now we don't think this was a previous problem because I had a TON of ultrasounds and none ever showed this. One nurse told us the cause might have been how he was born. When they started to pull him out (they pull them out by the waist so the feet are by the head) he got stuck. They then yanked him out by his feet. Our pediatrician is contacting a specialist to come see him and let us know how bad the damage is.

He did GREAT breast feeding his first 2 days home and then stopped. He refused to latch at all. He is now only on formula and takes about 3 1/2 oz per feeding. He came home weighing 5 lbs even and a week and a half later he weighed 5 lbs 8 oz, and he was born 5 lbs 1 oz so he's over his birth weight!

He unfortunately has a clogged tear duct but it's getting much better with some Dr prescribed eye drops.

Elaine - Elaine is still our little screamer! But when not screaming she is
