I'm taking Evan to visit his great grandmothers and my parents in May. I'm a bit nervous for it, since I'll be doing it on my own. So, I could really use some advice! Here is some info that might be useful:
The trip stars with flying from Ontario to Saskatchewan in the afternoon, where my grandmothers are (a 25 minute flight, a short stop in Toronto, then a 2 hour flight). I will meet my parents at the airport (who are driving from Calgary) and we will drive to where one of my grandmothers lives (about 2 hours). We'll spend 2-3 days in Saskatchewan, which will involve driving to my other grandmother's house, about 1.5 hours away. Then, we will drive to Calgary, which is about 10 hours. After about a week there, we will fly directly home from Calgary, which is a 3(ish) hour flight at night.
My parents will either rent or borrow a carseat, a pack n' play, and a high chair so I don't have to bring any of that stuff with me.
I plan to wean by May 1st (I'm SOOO counting the days to being done with EPing), so I will be feeding him formula at that point. We also plan to start feeding him solids when he is around 6 months, so just a couple weeks before the trip.
Any tips on what to bring, what not to bring, how to deal with the food situation or anything else that I'm not thinking of would be SO greatly appreciated!
