Umbrella stroller

So it's about time to retire our snap-n-go stroller (I have a friend who wanted to borrow it and her baby was born yesterday so I think it's about time to pass it along). I have a Bob jogging/all terrain stroller that gets used outside when we go for walks/jogs but it's been through the mud quite a bit so it's really not suitable for taking inside places. I am thinking about getting an inexpensive umbrella stroller to use when I want a stroller inside (e.g. in the swimming pool locker room). Any suggestions on features I need/don't need or recommendations on a low cost, decent quality stroller.

Thanks!

I bought the $15 Cosco umbrella stroller at Walmart a couple of months ago to use in the airport. It couldn't be more basic. It was perfect for the airport and I think it would be perfect for places like a swimming pool change room and such, like the pps have said. However I did find it a bit difficult to steer (the front wheels swivel but

your best bet to snag an umbrella stroller would be to just go to any department store with a baby section. I've bought strollers from JC Penny, Walmart, Kmart, Toys R Us, Sears,

I love our UPPA Baby G-Lite, but it is a fairly expensive umbrella stroller, I got it for 35% off so that helped some. It has been our go to stroller since we got it, we have used it for Disney World twice now, which is the main reason we got it, and we use it when we go somewhere and feel a stroller might be useful. The nice thing about it is it only weights 7 pounds which makes it really easy to carry when needed.

I'm 5'2" on a tall day so it sounds perfect :) If you get a chance at some point, let me know the brand - the cheapest stroller online at target is $45! Thanks Megan!

I LOVE our umbrella stroller! I got so tired of lugging that stupid giant stroller around and not fitting into stores and such. This one is so lightweight and folds up easily. I'm not sure what brand it is (I'd check, but it's in the car with DH at work right now), but it was the second cheapest one they had at Target. It was like $15 I think. We got it only so we could use it in the airport when we flew out to California, but I use it all the time now.

The only caveat is that the one we have doesn't have adjustable handles and they're really short. It's not a problem for me, because I'm 5'2", but it annoys DH to stoop over the stroller when he's pushing it. Anyway, so I would say if you're taller than around 5'4", look for one with adjustable handles, or at least with taller handles, because you'll get mighty tired of stooping over to push it otherwise.
