Walkers,exersaucers and Jumperoos?

Okay ladies I need your opinions on some things. I posted on FB last night that Gabby tool a few steps in a walker. My aunt posted that she was told they were dangerous and was surprised they had them at daycare.
So I was thinking well I know they are dangerous because of stairs etc. And access to things they shouldn't be. But then I was thinking well on daycare those factors aren't there so it should be fine.
But I posted the question on my playgroup. And they started talking about hip problems in kids if they are in walkers too much. So then it got me worried about the jumperoos and exersaucers and stuff and if that causes hip problems as well. I don't know how much time she is in it at daycare. So now I am wodering if I should talk to them about limiting her to a half hour a day? What would you do?

Bumbos, exersaucers, etc aren't sold here. It is funny because some people take it SO seriously and I just think a whole country full of millions of people does it differently and they end up fine:)
In general I think the Germans want a "right" way to do everything when it comes to parenting. It is a bit silly.
James has always been gassy--so he definitely prefers to be upright--it is funny that the Germans take it so seriously, LOL!
